Lucknow Super Giants made a comeback with a narrow win over Rajasthan Royals in IPL 2025, clinching the encounter in Jaipur by two runs at Sawai Mansingh Stadium on April 19. In reply, Yashasvi Jaiswal and IPL's youngest debutant Vaibhav Suryavanshi added 85 runs for the first wicket, giving the side a perfect start. However, Lucknow Super Giants fought back by dismissing the 14-year-old Vaibhav Suryavanshi (34). Yashasvi Jaiswal (74 off 52) and Riyan Parag added 62 runs before Avesh Khan claimed the former's wicket. Avesh Khan produced a stellar spell in the death overs, claiming two wickets in a single over and defending nine runs in the last, to finish with 3 for 37.
