00:00Hello everyone and welcome to today's DIY crafting session. We'll be exploring the fun
00:05and creative world of making your own bath bombs and soaps right at home. Whether you're a seasoned
00:11crafter or a beginner, today's session is all about relaxation and creativity. Before we dive
00:17in, let's gather the materials you'll need. For bath bombs, we'll need baking soda, citric acid,
00:23epsom salts, cornstarch, essential oils of your choice, and some natural coloring. For soaps,
00:29have some melt and pour soap base, fragrance oils, and soap molds on hand. Let's start with the bath
00:35bombs. First, mix your dry ingredients. One cup of baking soda, half a cup of citric acid,
00:41half a cup of cornstarch, and half a cup of epsom salts. In another bowl, combine your wet ingredients,
00:47one teaspoon of water, your chosen essential oils, and coloring. Slowly combine the wet and dry
00:53ingredients until the mixture holds together when squeezed. Pack it tightly into molds and let them
00:59dry overnight. Now on to the soaps. Cut your soap base into small pieces and melt it in the microwave
01:05or a double boiler. Once melted, stir in your fragrance oils and coloring. Pour the melted soap
01:11into molds and let them cool and harden completely. This usually takes a few hours. And there you have it,
01:18your very own handmade bath bombs and soaps. These make for perfect gifts or a lovely treat for
01:25yourself. Thank you for joining today's session and happy crafting. Feel free to leave any questions
01:31or share your creations in the comments below.
