00:52At this point in time, what we know is that there was, that Harsimrit Randhava was waiting for a bus at the bus stand.
00:59There was a shooting between two vehicles.
01:01Video footage has shown that there was a white car and a black car.
01:05And there was shooting between the occupants of those two vehicles.
01:08It could have been a gangland-style shooting.
01:10Unfortunately, we know that Canada has had those problems in the past.
01:13This is Ontario, which is, of course, the province that has the largest concentration of Indians in Canada.
01:18So, of course, this may have been a gangland-style shooting.
01:20And then you had a stray bullet hit Harsimrit Randhava.
01:23She was hit in the chest.
01:25She was taken immediately to the hospital, but then succumbed there to her injuries.
01:29So, at this point in time, the police of Hamilton, which is the city where she was shot, is looking into the issue.
01:34The Consulate General of India in Toronto has also reached out to provide assistance to the family,
01:39to assist the police authorities in terms of what they would need for this investigation.
