Transcript
00:00It's been a matter of weeks, so it's been pretty amazing.
00:02You said we're talking, so China and the U.S. are talking on tariffs.
00:06Do you believe them that they won't go higher than 125%?
00:09We've heard Chinese officials say that.
00:11And then, like, what happens if they do go higher?
00:14Do we retaliate more?
00:16Well, at a certain point, I don't want them to go higher
00:18because at a certain point, you make it where people don't buy.
00:21So I may not want to go higher, or I may not want to even go up to that level.
00:26I may want to go to less because, you know, you want people to buy.
00:30And at a certain point, people aren't going to buy.
00:32And it's actually up to 145% because you have the 20%.
00:37You previously said that you would consider reducing tariffs on China
00:41to get a Tic-Tac deal done.
00:43Is that still on the table as of now?
00:45Well, we have a deal for Tic-Tac, but it'll be subject to China,
00:48so we'll just delay the deal until this thing works out one way or the other.
00:52And I think it's a good deal for China.
00:53The Tic-Tac deal is very good.
00:56Tic-Tac is good for China.
00:57And I think they'd like to see us do a deal,
01:00especially the deal that we have pretty much done
01:03with some of the best companies in the world.
01:04If they agree to sign the deal, would you take that into consideration?
01:08I think it would be something we discuss because it's a natural.
01:11If we're making a deal, I guess we'll spend five minutes and talk about Tic-Tac.
01:16It wouldn't take very long.
01:17Can you give us a sense of how...
