Merrivale's Mia Mills speaks after her side's Warrnambool and District league A-grade netball win against Old Collegians on Good Friday.
Transcript
00:00Alright Mia, another good win today. Must be happy with that.
00:03Yeah, good result. I think good conditions for netball today.
00:06So we've got to try a few things and yeah, things like to come away with that.
00:10And three and none, that must be a nice start.
00:12Yeah, good start to the season. I know our next game is going to end so that's going to be tough.
00:15So now I want to focus a chance for that.
00:17And to train Thursday and yeah, start working out what we're going to do next week.
00:21And how are you finding it? New club?
00:23Yeah, new club. Maybe switch this year and all the girls are great.
00:26They're so supportive and Carts is working. So it's been good to come on board and yeah, hopefully we'll just win the streak on.
00:32And what do you hear? Have a few friends here or?
00:34Yeah, I'm really good friends with Peyton and so that's a big reason why I come and just yeah, a bit of a change up really.
00:42And happy with your form so far?
00:44Yeah, kinda. I mean there's always looking to improve.
00:47Today I was a bit scrappy and probably a few too many turnovers but I guess it's just kind of working with the girls and jamming with the new group.
00:53So fingers crossed that'll come in their coming rounds.
00:55And there's got to be a bit of belief that you can go a long way this year?
00:58Yeah, for sure. I reckon that's been our goal since they won our first training.
01:02We said we want to win this season and I don't know if they've been the in-form side for the last few seasons.
01:08But in the nicest way possible, hoping to knock them off.
01:12That sounds good. Thanks for that now.
01:13Awesome.
