00:00The question is, how many are we going to see in the opening round?
00:04And as the odds maker suggests now, Jackson Dart out of Ole Miss,
00:09a minus 700 place to be a first round pick with Jalen Milrow,
00:14not all that far behind at plus 135.
00:18So Mark Zinno, tell us, how many QBs are going in the first round
00:21exactly one week from tonight?
00:24I would think it would be four.
00:26I would kind of be surprised if Jalen Milrow doesn't get taken in the first round.
00:33More, if anything, than the scenario that happens where, you know,
00:38let's just say for your argument's sake, the Browns pass on a quarterback
00:42and somehow, you know, two guys go and the Saints pass on a quarterback.
00:45But either one of those teams trades back in late into the first round
00:49to go grab Jalen Milrow just because of the 50-year option.
00:52We've seen teams exploit this before.
00:54The Ravens did it most notably with Lamar Jackson.
00:56And I'm not expecting Jalen Milrow to turn into Lamar Jackson.
00:59But what I am expecting is that teams look at that as a value and say,
01:02that 50-year means everything to us.
01:04It's salary control.
01:05It's an extra year of contract.
01:07And, you know, it keeps our cap number down,
01:09especially if the young quarterback blows up before we get to that scenario
01:13and starts to look like an everyday starter in the NFL.
01:16So I think you're going to get four.
01:18There's always just a need for it.
01:20You know, a lot of this may depend, too, on where Shador Sanders falls, right?
01:25If somehow he falls outside of the top 10,
01:27then I don't think you get the run on quarterbacks that you need.
01:30But if somebody grabs him inside the top 10,
01:33whether it's the Giants or the Saints, whoever it may be,
01:35then the other two will most notably come out in the first round as well.
