00:00Overall, the autism is increasing in prevalence at an alarming rate.
00:16This is a preventable disease.
00:18We know it's an environmental exposure.
00:20It has to be.
00:21Genes do not cause epidemics.
00:23They can provide a vulnerability.
00:26You need an environmental toxin.
00:28This is an individual tragedy as well.
00:32Autism destroys families.
00:35More importantly, it destroys our greatest resource, which are children.
00:39These are children who should not be suffering like this.
00:44These are kids who, many of them, were fully functional and regressed because of some environmental
00:51exposure into autism when they were two years old.
00:56These are kids who will never pay taxes, they'll never hold a job, they'll never play baseball,
01:05they'll never write a poem, they'll never go out on a date.
01:09Many of them will never use a toilet unassisted.
01:14And we have to recognize we are doing this to our children.
01:17We're going to follow this science no matter what it says and we will have some of the answers
