00:00Hey, it's People in 10. It was to infinity and beyond this week for Blue Origin's first
00:08all-female crew. Blue Origin is building the road to space. But it's time to come back down
00:14to Earth because not everyone is feeling that way. Let's call Dave to talk this out.
00:20Hey, Mako, what's up? Hey, Dave. All right, let's talk. Are you feeling inspired by the launch? I
00:25mean, a lot of work did go into it. Yeah, and it was the first female crew in the history of the
00:29Blue Origin flight. So it was sisterhood in space. It really was. But I got to say, Katie's daughter
00:35had me in tears. Oh my gosh, that was so sweet. Katie even brought a daisy with her into space.
00:41But of course, the internet had to have its fun with it. Did you see those memes? Yes, I did. And
00:47that's why I wanted to call you. Some of them are so funny. I mean, Gail's worried face is literally
00:52me going on every first date. She was totally terrified. But amid all those laughs, Olivia Wilde
00:57had some choice words for those ladies. Okay, now, why are people upset? I mean, she's not entirely
01:03wrong. A lot of people feel from their perspective that all this talk of science and inspiration,
01:08this is basically just a glorified bus trip to space, right? I mean, it was 10 minutes long,
01:12and you and I have been on Zoom meetings longer than that. Surely it cost a lot to operate. But
01:17the Blue Origin ladies stick to the fact that it was worth it because of all the positive feedback
01:22they're getting. And Gayle King even went on CBS Mornings and say that she's very disappointed by
01:27the criticism because the flight was part of Blue Origin's bigger plan. I'm just glad they back home.
01:32Well, thank you for the info. I'll talk to you later. Thanks. And I'll be here on the earth when you do.
01:37Perfect. Bye.
01:40Instead of taking a bow, SNL was taking an L this week because their impression of Chelsea from the
01:45White Lotus did not go over well. It was all part of a sketch called The White POTUS, which reimagined the
01:51season three cast as members of the Trump administration. The only one not based on a
01:55politician? Sarah Sherman is Chelsea, who was the butt of a joke about RFK Jr., fluoride, and bad teeth.
02:01Amy Lou Wood saw the sketch, how could she not? And bravely spoke out, calling it mean, unfunny,
02:08even cheap. In a classy move, Amy actually defended Sarah, saying it wasn't the actress's fault,
02:13even if her Manchester accent could use a little work. Anyway, it didn't take long for her to get an
02:18apology, but let's hope a lesson was learned on this one. What comes next after you take the
02:24stage for what some are calling the best Coachella set of all time? One of the best anyway. Hello,
02:29Beyonce. But back to my question, what do you do? You go get a snack because you've earned it.
02:35So after Lady Gaga gave it her all through 20 songs and almost two full hours in the California desert,
02:41she went to In-N-Out Burger and continued to unwind by dropping comments to her super fans online.
02:50Now that's mother behavior. And speaking of mothers, it was Mom's Day Out for Kylie Jenner at the
02:56music festival. She cozied up to her boyfriend, Timothee Chalamet during Charli XCX's set on Saturday.
03:02And did you see her getting ready for the day with her son?
03:05Hang out with me. And Coachellas are a lot different these days.
03:09Now it seems like Ayer had to stay home. Bummer. But Kylie's seven-year-old daughter,
03:14Stormy, was there for her dad, Travis Scott's set. Yup, that's her in the crowd, bopping along.
03:19Auntie Kendall was on babysitting duty from what we can tell, so Kylie got to enjoy some me time.
03:24Good for you, girl. It was a close call for Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro when his home
03:30was set on fire in an arson attack, with his family still inside. But he
03:34remains defiant. I'm not fearful. I'm obviously emotional. I'm worried about my family.
03:40I want my kids to be okay. I will not be deterred in my work and I will not be afraid to do that work.
03:48The fire chief says this could have ended very differently if some doors in the home had been
03:52open instead of closed at the time. And new photos show just how much devastation there was. Damaged
03:58plates, burnt furniture. You can even see how it impacted the walls. But 38-year-old Cody
04:04Balmer has been arrested and faces multiple charges, including attempted murder, even terrorism.
04:09And a judge denied him bail, so he's not going anywhere. Lil Nasets gave fans a scare when he
04:16posted some videos from a hospital bed this week saying he's lost control of the right side of his face.
04:22This is me doing a full smile right now, by the way. It's like, it's like, what the
04:27f**k, bro? I couldn't even laugh, right, bro? People seem to agree he could be suffering from Bell's palsy,
04:33which causes temporary facial paralysis, mostly on one side. His famous friends and fans headed to
04:39the comments to share their concern, but he says he's okay, y'all. He even suggested an
04:44alternative activity instead of feeling sad for him. Get well soon, buddy.
04:50And while he might have to rock a hospital gown for now, we'll never forget his past lays. Remember
04:54the 2021 VMAs? He was ahead of the trend because this lavender, lilac, whatever shade, we're seeing
05:01it everywhere. You had Cardi B in all her glory at Coachella, Summer House alum and Giggly Squad
05:07co-host Hannah Burner on GMA, Hillary Burton at the AMC upfronts, and this color goes beyond just clothes.
05:14Selena Gomez, our Manny Queen, is making lavender milk nails into a whole spring vibe. Booking my
05:19appointment now. Expelliarmus! I'm just practicing my spells because we officially know some of the cast
05:27for the new Harry Potter TV series. John Lithgow will take on Dumbledore, Janet McTeer will re-imagine
05:33Professor McGonagall. There's Papa Esiadu as Snape, and Nick Frost as Hagrid.
05:37You're a wizard, Harry. The four actors who originated those roles are no longer with us,
05:43so this could be a beautiful tribute. Paul Whitehouse and Luke Dowen are also signed on,
05:48with filming set to start this summer in England. No word yet on who's playing our trio,
05:53but Warner Bros. emphasized inclusivity and diversity in its casting call. Can't wait to find out.
06:00And finally, here's one to warm your heart. A herd of elephants sprung into action,
06:05forming what the San Diego Zoo called an alert circle, in which they clustered together,
06:10facing outward to protect their young, when the city was hit by a 5.2 magnitude earthquake.
06:15Instead of each elephant looking after their own child, the whole herd joined forces. Nature is
06:21amazing. Now according to the Associated Press, the two calves are seven years old, and the zoo explained
06:26that the elephants have a unique ability to feel sound through their feet. That's how they knew to
06:31circle up. And they even stay close afterwards, just in case. Now it's to sit down with Spencer Pratt,
06:39the Pratt Daddy. Hello there. You are currently starring in Got To Get Out, a new reality competition
06:45show on Hulu. As a seasoned reality star and competition show alum, how did the show stand
06:50up to the others that you've been on? Well, the money. It's the first show I've ever got to be on,
06:54where you can win a million dollars. So, and other shows in the past have done very well with that
07:01idea. And I always wanted to be on a show where I was, there was actually a reason to be there
07:07besides just like messing with people and trying to, you know, make entertainment, which is also fun,
07:12but it's a lot more fun, really trying to plot and scheme with that end game that could make you rich.
07:20There are many familiar faces on the show. Plus dreamy, seemingly you as host. Who ended up being
07:26your Got To Get Out bestie? I got along with everybody because everyone was so nice,
07:30but I've already seen a couple of clips from the first episode where people are saying some
07:35sideways things. I was like, oh, the diabolical Spencer Pratt. Is there anything you want to air
07:40out to them right now? I already called Omarosa. She started texting me. He was like, I didn't say
07:45that. I called you diabolical. I was like, let me stop texting you and let me call you. And then I
07:50word for word told her, I guess she didn't have the screeners yet for the episodes. Cause you know,
07:56she's busy being a lawyer or whatever. And, uh, so I had to call her and be like, oh,
08:02I'm the weirdest person you've ever been on TV with.
08:06Many W one of the OG Kings of reality TV. So tell us three traits that make a perfect
08:12reality personality. You can't image craft. That's what happened with the Hills reboot. The whole cast was
08:17like creating these IG story versions of their themselves in front of the camera. And when the
08:23cameras turn off, that's not who they are being authentic. We've also always heard from the top
08:29pros is if you think something in normal life, you don't necessarily say it. You think something on a
08:35TV show, you say it. All right. Well, my answer is no. Sweet. My answer is get out of my car.
08:41Speaking of this is our personal bid to get you on the season four of the traders.
08:46You know, the only strategy I really have going right now is trying to get,
08:50you know, global pop superstar show on Hulu ABC. So I don't think I'd have time to do traders. Cause
08:56I was going to, you know, I'm planning on being on Hulu. So unless Hulu wants me on another platform,
09:03I'm pretty happy with the billboards and how I'm treated with this amazing team here. So I think I
09:09found my home, let's be clear. I'm willing to do everything right now. Hulu's funding me. So if a
09:16new platform would like to fund me, then I wouldn't be a trader on a serious note, we continue to be
09:23completely devastated for you, Heidi and your kiddos after the fires, as you rebuild your life as a
09:29family. What have conversations been like with the boys? You know, we definitely are just trying to make
09:35sure we talk about the situation when it makes sense, you know, not just like, it's not part of
09:40the daily, but if something comes up, you know, we're not like, don't, you know, we definitely want
09:45our seven year old to like be able to express himself. We need to get money to build a new house.
09:52Realistically, we're more looking at selling the dirt than looking for a new home because the prices
09:58to rebuild the Palisades right now are five times. I mean, we were already just barely, you know,
10:06affording living there when the house was there. So once you lose every memory you've accumulated
10:11since your whole life, it's like my life started January 8th when I went to Marshall's and started
10:20buying shirts again, you know, so everything is emotionally too. I'm just like, I got to move on
10:28from that because it's just, it's too sad. We will continue to keep you and Heidi in our thoughts.
10:36For now, we're going to put 10 seconds on the clock. Promote any one of your projects. Ready? Go.
10:41The best show in the history of television on Hulu, all eight episodes streaming. You don't have
10:46to wait eight weeks to see who got the million dollars. There's 10 regular people who are not
10:51regular and 10 insane celebrities you got to watch. Spencer, thank you so much for joining us today.
