00:00Hello, I'm Holly, a reporter at the Lancashire Post and not that I need an excuse but it's
00:06Easter week and what better way to celebrate than indulging in a sweet treat. There's many
00:12cafes and bakeries to actually choose from in Preston but today I decided to go for Jonah's
00:17Coffee on Hope Street. It's a little coffee shop that I've wanted to try for a while. You always
00:23walk past it and think oh it looks really nice in there and being the coffee connoisseur that I am
00:28I thought it would be a really good opportunity to go and try it. Originally it opened up in the
00:34unit at Preston Market but then decided to move into a building and it's now on Hope Street.
00:43Walking up obviously first glance it's a lovely little place. The signage is there you know you
00:50can tell where it is. Walking in as well it's such a lovely little place with all the signs up with
00:56the prices and it's just a nice little atmosphere really. I could only fit a couple people in but
01:02it wasn't too busy when I got there. But yeah lovely little place and they also have a selection
01:10of bakes that you can obviously try. I went for the double chocolate chunk cookie I believe it was
01:18and it was a really really good cookie. One of those ones that wasn't too sickly but like it was a
01:24perfect size and I think it was £2.50 which I don't think is too bad. And obviously on to coffee
01:32caramel lattes are my favourite so I can't change my habits so that's what I went for and honestly
01:38hands down one of the best coffees I've ever tried. Looking at reviews before going in you know
01:43the complimented the coffee. I don't think it'd be as good as it was and it's really really good.
01:49Um 10 out of 10. One of those ones that didn't leave a horrible taste in your mouth after it went
01:55down so smoothly and it was it was one of those ones that I can see becoming a regular in my trip to
02:02uni. Um £7.10 it was for the cookie and the coffee which I didn't think was too bad. Um and yeah staff
02:11are really really friendly considering there's only two of them in there and I can imagine it does get
02:15quite busy. Um it was just a lovely little place. Everyone seemed really friendly. The atmosphere
02:21was lovely and it was just one of those places that you could just sit in for a little while
02:25uh enjoy your coffee and then leave. So yeah tonight I would recommend. It's probably going
02:30to become part of my daily routine. Um and yeah it was really really enjoyable.
