00:00All right, Zach, I've got a project for you.
00:0399 Ferrari.
00:05God, look at that.
00:06It's not every day you get to work on a Ferrari.
00:07We need to wake it up.
00:11So because this is an interference engine,
00:13if I got this timing belt even one tooth off,
00:15that means this engine would be toast.
00:17So this has to be a very precise job.
00:19Nothing can go wrong.
00:22God damn.
00:23Ah!
00:24Damn!
00:25Papa's been talking about doing a custom bike
00:27really since I've known it.
00:28One day, we'll work on it one day, Joe.
00:30And Joe is finally going to make it happen.
00:33This is Papa's bike, Mike.
00:34If we tear her down, he's not going to know it's his bike.
00:36No.
00:37You know, we've done a lot of pranking on Pampa
00:39over the last decade.
00:42Bow!
00:43Oh!
00:45We owe it to him.
00:46We kind of owe it to him.
00:47We took about 20 years of his life off of him.
00:49If we can pull this off, building this bike
00:53and actually keeping it a surprise,
00:55this is going to be the ultimate Pampa prank.
00:59You got me good.
01:01Cooling down with an ice cream sandwich, man.
01:03Oh!
01:06I'm Joe Martin.
01:07I've been building cars and bikes since I was just a little kid.
01:11My team hunts down rusted wrecks.
01:14Are we going to work today, Joe, or what?
01:16We knock out the ugly and put in the cool.
01:20And turn these buckets of rust into street art.
01:25This is Iron Resurrection.
01:32All right, here we are.
01:35We're at the right place.
01:37Mm-hmm.
01:39What's happening, Lee?
01:40What's going on, Joe?
01:41How you been, man?
01:42Doing well, man.
01:42How are you?
01:42Good to see you, man.
01:43Likewise.
01:43What's new?
01:44Good to see you, man.
01:45I'm the co-owner of Accelerated Customs and Cycles
01:47in Buda, Texas.
01:49And we are a custom and repair shop
01:51for Harley-Davidson motorcycles.
01:54Chris and Lee are brothers.
01:55They're Harley mechanics.
01:56They've been doing it for years.
01:57They've got a really cool assortment of bikes here.
01:59Well, you remember the little conversation
02:00we had on the phone?
02:01Yeah.
02:01About Pampa's bike.
02:02Yeah, yeah.
02:03So we've got a plan.
02:04Well, Pampa, he's been talking about this
02:06for a few years, wanting a motorcycle.
02:07And we knew Pampa had the bike stored over here.
02:09We decided to pull the trigger on this thing.
02:11Sweet.
02:12We're going to load it up, trick it out.
02:14Hopefully, we can get it apart where he doesn't notice it
02:17apart at our shop and recognize it.
02:19Right.
02:19So we're going to grab the bike.
02:21And Chris and Lee are in cahoots with us.
02:23We're going to steal the bike from the shop.
02:26And we're going to fix it up for Pampa.
02:27And hopefully, he doesn't recognize it's gone from here.
02:30I've known Pampa for probably 15 years.
02:33I met him at a motorcycle show while I
02:36was working for another custom shop in Phoenix.
02:39And we hit it off.
02:40And after I moved back to Texas, we just kept in touch.
02:45And now, I can't get rid of him.
02:47You know, he stops in periodically.
02:49Does he?
02:49Will he notice if his bike is missing?
02:52Probably not.
02:53OK.
02:54Because he's too busy chattering.
02:57Yes.
02:58Entertaining everybody.
02:59Yeah, exactly.
03:00Pampa!
03:00Get over here.
03:01What's going on, Joe?
03:02I've known Pomp probably since the early 2000s.
03:04We lived in Dallas.
03:05We used to come down here to Austin to a big bike show.
03:07Everybody knows when I put my hat on,
03:09I'm going in for the kill.
03:10Oh, you're going in for the kill.
03:12And Pomp would always roll up, hang out with us at the booth.
03:15Bam!
03:16Got some chickens out here.
03:18And then, of course, when we moved down here,
03:19he was just kind of a regular around here.
03:21You're the Kung Fu master.
03:22I'm the grasshopper.
03:27Pampa is the kind of guy that wants to make everybody laugh.
03:30He's got a heart of gold.
03:35Really?
03:36Pomp's grooming, man.
03:37Hit him with that stinger, he'll move.
03:39This ball is ready.
03:42He looks like a candy cane.
03:44You know, we've done a lot of pranking on Pampa
03:46over the last decade or so.
03:52And he's always a good sport.
03:53Man, they got me good today.
03:54How's that heart?
03:55It's good.
03:56I ain't going to go to the gym today.
03:58If we can pull this off, building this bike
04:01and actually keeping it a surprise,
04:03this is going to be the ultimate Pampa prank.
04:07Well, I guess we need to look at this boy's bike, Lee.
04:11Yeah.
04:11See the shop, too, man.
04:12Yeah, let's go check it out.
04:13Come on inside.
04:14Awesome.
04:15I think Joe and Mandy's idea of taking the bike
04:18and customizing it for Pampa is going to be awesome.
04:21He's going to be thrilled.
04:23Man, you've got plenty of bikes in here, Lee.
04:25Yeah, and this is actually a fairly light load.
04:27Is it really?
04:28Damn, dude.
04:29He's been talking about doing this for years and years.
04:32I guess we're going to need to.
04:33I love if I'm scared to look at this thing or not, man.
04:38It's the perfect canvas.
04:39See?
04:40This is Pampa's bike?
04:41This is Pampa's bike.
04:45Oh, my.
04:48Circa, you know, 99, 2000, right?
04:50Yeah, exactly, man.
04:51It took you back a few years, didn't it?
04:53Damn.
04:5324 years old.
04:55It's a 2000 Harley fat boy, and it's already been kind of mildly customized with just about 20 years out of date.
05:02Damn, dude, look at that.
05:04Yeah, that's a throwback.
05:05Somebody put some work in this thing back in the day, man.
05:07Yeah.
05:08It's a great canvas to start with.
05:09It's already lowered.
05:10It's never been wrecked, really, that I can tell.
05:12So, I mean, it makes my job much easier.
05:13Well, man, you know what?
05:14There's some good bones on this thing right here, man.
05:16There's more than I expected.
05:17That's for damn sure.
05:18Well, cool.
05:19You want to get this thing loaded up?
05:20Yeah, let's do it.
05:21Perfect.
05:21Let's do it, man.
05:22Yeah, I'm definitely excited working on a bike again.
05:26Yeah.
05:27Way easier in a car.
05:31I love cars, but I love bikes, too.
05:33It'll be fun to build another bike.
05:37You know, it runs great.
05:37It seems to run good.
05:40Everything looked good.
05:41We were pretty happy with what we saw.
05:47Perfect.
05:50That could have been bad.
05:52You know, we're going to do fenders.
05:53We'll do exhaust.
05:55We'll do a cool tank, handlebars.
05:58You know, all the fun stuff.
06:00All right.
06:01Sweet, man.
06:03So now we're going to load it up, get to the shop,
06:05start tearing it down.
06:06Papa is going to die, really.
06:08I mean, not literally, but.
06:09Oh, the Papa.
06:17So today, we're just hanging out, and Joe,
06:18he rolls up from the back and back of his truck.
06:21Come on, Mike.
06:22So we're going to do a motorcycle.
06:24I'm all about that.
06:25I know you miss that stuff, Mike.
06:26Yeah.
06:27So, man, this is Pompa's bike, Mike.
06:30Turns out to be Pompa's bike.
06:31Now, I've heard about this thing, and Joe said something
06:33about it earlier, but I just didn't believe him.
06:35So apparently, as it's coming true,
06:37I guess we're going to build a bike for the Pompa.
06:39You do know this is a surprise for Pompa, right, Mike?
06:42I do know this is a surprise.
06:44Well, the thing is, we've got to get it tore down like that,
06:46so he don't recognize it sitting here.
06:48Because if we tear it down, he's not going to know
06:50it's his bike.
06:51No.
06:52I've been told it's a secret.
06:53It's a hush-hush.
06:54A big surprise for the Pompa.
06:55So we'll just have to work around him, you know, occupy him.
06:58He comes in the shop.
06:59I'll just throw a bunch of firecrackers at him.
07:00Mmm.
07:01Good Lord, this thing looks heavy, Joe.
07:03Yes, sir.
07:04Grab a corner, fellas.
07:06We've got a fat boy for a fat boy.
07:07We make the jokes fat boy for a fat boy, but it's a soft tail.
07:11Don't let it drag the ramp off the.
07:12No, no, you're going to keep going.
07:14You're going to make it?
07:15Barely.
07:16Barely.
07:16In soft tails, I'm all about those.
07:18I'm all about comfort now.
07:20All right, you got it, Mike?
07:20Yep.
07:21Yep.
07:22All right, I'm going to let it go.
07:23OK.
07:23You got it.
07:24I'll sacrifice a little coolness for comfort now
07:26at my age any day.
07:28Hee!
07:28All right, you got it, Zach?
07:29Yeah, you got it.
07:30Cool.
07:30There we go.
07:32Does it run?
07:33We started up over there.
07:34Huh?
07:35Yeah, I think it runs pretty good.
07:36Kick that stand out, Zach.
07:38You remember how to operate it?
07:39Man, it's an outlaw fat boy.
07:41Nice and light.
07:41Yeah.
07:42Yeah.
07:42Let's see how you work with this, mate.
07:43It should just click on.
07:47Damn, man.
07:48Go that way, Joe.
07:55They're going to need it 50 by 50 to turn that big summa
07:57around.
08:00Yeah, that thing's lower.
08:04That thing runs good.
08:06It sounds good.
08:06It sits good, too.
08:07Sounds good.
08:07It sits good, too.
08:08The bike itself, I mean, it could be ridden just like it
08:09is for a long time.
08:10But Joe, he just can't let it go.
08:11We need to get some stuff off of it, mate.
08:13You know what I mean?
08:14Uh-huh.
08:15That's not a bad looking ride.
08:16Uh-huh.
08:17We're probably going to do a little metal work on the tank.
08:19Sitting low.
08:20Got the lowered shock kit on there.
08:22Rear fender, bars, pipes.
08:25Just a bunch of cosmetic stuff, too.
08:27Probably not a lot of structural stuff.
08:28I thought it'd be cool, too.
08:29Maybe we do that look where we make it look like a hardtail.
08:31Don't get carried away, Joe.
08:32Come on, mate.
08:33I think he has in mind exactly what he wants to do.
08:35It's going to be my job not to let him get too carried away.
08:38Well, let's roll in the shop and get tore down, brother.
08:42Man.
08:43So today, we're going to tear down Pompous Fat Boy.
08:44We're going to get started on this project.
08:45You remember how to work on these?
08:46Yeah, you used to wire them, and you used to fire them,
08:47and you used to...
08:48I know.
08:49I know.
08:50I know.
08:51I know.
08:52It's been eight years.
08:53I know.
08:54I know.
08:55I know.
08:56I know.
08:57I know.
08:58I know.
08:59I know.
09:00I know.
09:01I know.
09:02I know.
09:03It's been eight years, at least.
09:04Yeah, you know, this is kind of like a trip down memory land here.
09:07I'm having flashbacks already.
09:08I ain't even got started on it.
09:09God dang, it's been a long time.
09:10Man, I know.
09:11Holy crap, Joe.
09:12I know.
09:13Originally, when I met Joe, that's what we were doing,
09:14was building bikes.
09:15Well, he was, and I joined in on the party, and that was 17 years ago.
09:18The rest is history.
09:19But this would be fun to do another one.
09:21We just need to make it look mean, mate.
09:23It's got a lot of shiny stuff on it.
09:25It's got shiny stuff on it.
09:28So we'll have to tear everything off of this thing to get down to the bones of it.
09:31Doodad it up.
09:32It's got doodads on it.
09:33I mean, everything comes off the bars, the trees, the forks, the tank.
09:36You need to be doodad it.
09:38Let's do that.
09:39All right.
09:40Take everything off.
09:41That point on, we'll figure out exactly what we're going to do for these modifications.
09:44But first thing we want to do is get tore down, kind of check everything out, see what we're dealing with.
09:49I'm kind of worried we don't even remember how to do this stuff.
09:51Well, I'm sure it'll come back to us.
09:54We did a lot of motorcycles back in late 90s.
09:56A lot of custom bikes.
09:57Save that and I'll put it on my trailer.
10:00Oh, yeah.
10:01Trailer lights.
10:02The business mainly focused on them because it was such a popular thing at the time.
10:07And so we're kind of excited.
10:08Me and Mike are going to work on this thing.
10:11Do some modifications to it.
10:13Shouldn't take long to get it apart.
10:14Hey, do we have any of these, these big star wrenches?
10:17These big torques?
10:18Uh, what do you got on there, brother?
10:20Damn, man.
10:21But, come on, man.
10:23You know, tearing down a bike compared to a car?
10:25Piece of cake.
10:26Man, let me see what I got over here, Mike.
10:28We're all excited, but here we are, stuck.
10:36I always got myself all fired up, take it apart, and that's all that .
10:41Hell, we can't even get one piece off of it.
10:43Damn.
10:46Can't even barely get the damn battery out of this son.
10:48Get the battery out.
10:49You know, this thing's locked up real good.
10:51I'm just ready to throw some paint on it and call it a day.
10:53Pompa might not be getting nothing.
10:55Pompa might not get nothing, man.
11:04All right, Zach.
11:05Dang.
11:06I got a project for you.
11:07I'm hoping it's that one.
11:08This car I've had a long time, and I used it quite a bit when I first got it.
11:1299 Ferrari.
11:13Right.
11:14360.
11:15Cars come and go.
11:16More things.
11:17Life gets in the way.
11:18Things sit.
11:19And it's time for an upgrade.
11:21I need to do timing belts, Zach.
11:23Yeah, that'd be a smart move.
11:24I know those things are only good for a couple years.
11:26I know.
11:27They're kind of way overdue.
11:29Ferrari always suggests timing belt changes.
11:31The car sits for a few years.
11:32They say change the belts.
11:33Anyway, let me get this thing down, brother.
11:34All righty.
11:35All right, brother.
11:36Let's push it.
11:37You know what's cool about it, man, Zach?
11:38It's yellow, dude.
11:39I know.
11:40You don't see a lot of yellow ones.
11:41You don't see a lot of yellow ones.
11:42This color is the official color of Modena, Italy.
11:47Mm-hmm.
11:48I guess the city's got official color.
11:49Okay.
11:50And so I got in the car after the city.
11:51And so they had, they did want a yellow.
11:54Ferrari, as far as the Italian stuff, it's the real deal.
11:56Every one I've seen is red.
11:57They're black, they're red, they're silver.
11:58It's got a lot of racing heritage.
11:59I saw this yellow, and I was like, damn, dude.
12:00Badass.
12:01Mm-hmm.
12:02I think they're just really cool.
12:03And, and, uh, they always will be good.
12:04Yeah.
12:05Yeah.
12:06Yeah.
12:07Yeah.
12:08Yeah.
12:09Yeah.
12:10Yeah.
12:11Yeah.
12:12Yeah.
12:13Yeah.
12:14Yeah.
12:15It's the best way.
12:16God, look at that.
12:17And you got that exhaust system on there.
12:18That's true.
12:19You got the Capristo exhaust.
12:20It's not every day you get to work on a Ferrari.
12:21So, I mean, that's pretty cool.
12:22I'm just, it's been sitting, bro, you know?
12:23Just go through, do a little once over on this thing.
12:24Yeah.
12:25Get it back on the road.
12:26I mean, it's a car I grew up looking at, you know,
12:27think it was really awesome.
12:28We really just got to, you know, bring this car out of mothballs.
12:30It's been sitting for a while.
12:31Got to do an oil change on it to get the timing belts for a little bit.
12:34Yeah.
12:35Yeah.
12:36I mean, it's a car I grew up looking at, you know, think it was really awesome.
12:45We're also going to have to pull most of the interior out.
12:46So, we'll go ahead and put a clean on that as well while we're there.
12:48Well, I guess we try to jump it off, Zach.
12:50Yeah.
12:51I want to hear this thing start.
12:52See if it'll fire up.
12:53And then we'll limp it to the shop.
12:55Anything Zach touches, he masters really quickly.
12:58He's been doing a little studying on the car.
13:00And I think he's going to be the man for the job.
13:02All righty then.
13:03God, it still just looks mean from the back.
13:07It does, man.
13:11You used to do this in two hours, Joe.
13:12Yeah.
13:13Two hours.
13:14Done.
13:15Yep.
13:16I can't even get the fender off.
13:17Today we're tearing down Papa's bike and we're going to rebuild it for him.
13:20I'm going to give you this fender here.
13:21If the last thing I do today, I'm going to get this fender off.
13:24Look at that.
13:25Told you.
13:26Damn, man.
13:27Look at that thing.
13:28I didn't remember how to do that.
13:29Looks better already, man.
13:30I'm going to give this to you.
13:31Damn.
13:32It looks better already, don't it?
13:33It looks better already, mate.
13:36This is going to be a win-win for me today if I get this peg out of here.
13:40Man, this is a fighter, man.
13:42The bike itself is in great shape, runs good.
13:44There we go.
13:45That's all right.
13:46Hey, man.
13:47Old school ways.
13:48I got two or three of them so I'm going to pass.
13:49Got to use the crescent wrench on it, mate.
13:50Even my woman knows what the Kentucky is.
13:52Yeah.
13:53Go get me the Kentucky.
13:54Okay.
13:55It's mechanically very solid.
13:57There's a lot of wires in there.
13:58So we're not going to mess with the motor.
13:59That's a good thing.
14:00There ain't nothing wrong.
14:01We'll recycle it, mate.
14:02I put cams in it, anything like that.
14:03Right on.
14:04Pump it doesn't need to go too fast.
14:06So we're going to leave everything stock and then just trick everything out on the outside.
14:09Last time I worked on these things, I could see.
14:11Where are my nippers now?
14:12Oh, my.
14:13Here we go.
14:14Again, taking something.
14:15Ram perfect.
14:16Ram perfect and then destroying it.
14:17Yeah.
14:18Cutting it all apart for no good reason.
14:19Yeah.
14:20I don't want to cut any wires that we can salvage, so we're going to have to get creative or something.
14:26You can fall on your lap, mate.
14:27Ready?
14:28Look at that.
14:29Hold on to your stuff.
14:30Look at that.
14:31Damn, man.
14:32Oh, .
14:33Look at that.
14:34That's what I think about those.
14:35Yeah.
14:36Yeah.
14:37Well, Mike, I tell you what, man.
14:38That was a good day.
14:39Well.
14:40We got something torn down.
14:41It got the quick strip on it.
14:42We got the quick strip.
14:43Yeah.
14:44That's all that's good.
14:45We'll get some.
14:46We'll get our stuff.
14:47We'll get some.
14:48We'll get some.
14:49We'll get some.
14:50We'll get some.
14:51We'll get some.
14:52We'll get some.
14:53We'll get some.
14:54We'll get some.
14:55We'll get some.
14:56We'll get our wheels coming.
14:57You know, from what I understand, Papa don't know anything about this.
14:59So we're going to have to be super secretive about this and keep that boy away from the
15:02shop till we're ready for him to fit it.
15:04Hopefully those will come in soon.
15:05We'll get cracking on.
15:06All right.
15:07Perfect.
15:08Perfect.
15:09That being said, I don't know, keeping him away from the shop shouldn't be that hard
15:14because he don't like to work anyway.
15:20We need our frame table.
15:22We need a lot of chopping.
15:24Some.
15:25Some.
15:26A little bit.
15:27I mean, for Pompa to do that.
15:28What's up, fellas?
15:29Look at Pompa.
15:30Pompa, what are you doing, man?
15:31It's funny.
15:32We just got through tearing down this bike and Pompa shows up.
15:35But I think we've got it tore down far enough, he will not recognize it.
15:38What y'all doing right here?
15:39Uh, we're just working on a...
15:42We had to take one in, Pompa.
15:44These factory charters, once you strip them down, they all kind of look alike.
15:47I mean, basically because they're all built alike.
15:49Yes, sir, Pompa.
15:50Let's take one in, Pompa.
15:51Yeah.
15:52If we can remember how to do it.
15:53If we can remember how to do it, Pompa, we can't even remember how to work on anything.
15:54We're sitting here discussing how to worry we start.
15:56It's been a long time y'all did a bike.
15:59I think he's just so fascinated that we're doing another bike, I don't even think he realizes
16:03that's actually his.
16:04Who lucky customer is this going to be?
16:06Well, just some dude came in and talked us into working on his old soft tail, Pompa.
16:11Man, you're going to make a killer, John.
16:14I know you are.
16:15I hope, Pompa.
16:16I'm glad he popped in on us.
16:18It definitely gives us an opportunity to kind of gauge and see what, you know, if he thought
16:22it was his bike, what he'd do to it.
16:24Give it a little rake, Pompa.
16:25Put some 21 on it.
16:2718.
16:28You're going to put 21 and 18?
16:29Yeah.
16:30We'll do some long fenders.
16:31Oh, yeah.
16:32These are long.
16:33Oh, man.
16:34Man, that's going to be nice.
16:35Is that how you do it?
16:36Is that how you do it or what?
16:37That's when Pompa showed up every day.
16:39Man.
16:40Remember?
16:41You know what?
16:42You're right.
16:43Because when we were doing more bikes, I was there every day at the shop.
16:44Yes, yes.
16:45Pompa, I thought you had one of these laying around somewhere.
16:46Yeah, I have a motorcycle storage at a friend's shop, and it just needs a whole makeover.
16:52You know, it needs a whole makeover on my motorcycle.
16:55But like I said, we don't have no time to work on it.
16:58Joe don't have time.
16:59Mike don't have time.
17:00So we got working on a lot of cars.
17:02One day, we'll work on it one day, Joe.
17:04What do you got, Pompa?
17:05What do you got?
17:06I don't know.
17:07Just an old soft tail.
17:08Old fat boy looking thing.
17:09Yeah, the same bike that Joe's working on and Mike.
17:13It's a soft tail.
17:14It's a soft tail frame.
17:15And mine's a soft tail frame.
17:17Pom, what would you do if this was your bike?
17:19If it was my bike, I'd do everything you said.
17:21You know, Joe asked me what I'd do to that bike.
17:24I'd just put a long fender, a whole modification of a gas tank.
17:28With a tank, it would have to be, you know, Joe Martin's touch.
17:32With some green outline or some green somewhere.
17:35Cool pipes, you know.
17:36Maybe some eight bars on it.
17:38Papa.
17:39Like this.
17:40Oh, some eights on it?
17:41Some eights.
17:42Tall bars.
17:43Yeah, not too tall, but you know, right here.
17:45You know what I mean.
17:46And then the fender long.
17:47But whoever bike that belongs to, Joe's going to do a great job on it.
17:50And whoever gets that bike, they're going to be very happy.
17:53You know what I'd be cool?
17:54A lot of people don't do stainless steel.
17:56We don't ever do stainless steel, Papa.
17:58Pom, if you want them loud, like you want to...
18:00Like...
18:01Ah!
18:02Damn!
18:03Come on, Papa!
18:04Damn!
18:05Damn, Papa.
18:06What happened, man?
18:07That'd be tough, Papa.
18:08Ah, .
18:09I need an ice cream, Joe.
18:11I need an ice cream.
18:12You need an ice cream?
18:13I gotta cool off, Joe.
18:14Damn, Papa.
18:15I gotta cool off, Joe.
18:16Then he's headed to the fridge, man.
18:17I mean...
18:18There's ice cream in there, too.
18:19Damn, Papa.
18:22You got me good.
18:24Cooling down with an ice cream sandwich, man.
18:26Ugh.
18:27You too cold, Papa.
18:29What I'm doing right now is planning and scheming how I'm going to build out Papa's fat boy.
18:42This particular bike is a 2000 model, and so it's got a twin cam, 88.
18:47There's gonna be a lot of modifications to the bike.
18:50Obviously, it's a tricky thing with Papa.
18:52You know, I know the details that have been on his wish list, but, you know, these bikes
18:56gotta be kinda tailored around people.
18:58We gotta deal with the seat height.
19:00We want him kinda a little lower to the ground.
19:02Raking the frame a little bit, too, it's gonna get the bike down.
19:05Handlebars.
19:06He wanted to do some kind of a beach bar thing.
19:08I think a little small ape hanger would look better, but at the same time, where he can
19:13comfortably reach it.
19:15Papa's always liked the long tail-dragger fender look.
19:18Gives plenty of room for a really cool paint job.
19:24As far as the artwork on the bike, Papa always likes thinking about the icing before the cake.
19:29So he's like, Manjo, if I had a bike, man, I wanna do some candy green.
19:34It's one of his favorite colors.
19:36So if we do kind of like a heavy flake, candy organic green, the frame's black, the seat will be black.
19:42So there are a lot of black accents.
19:44It's gonna be, you know, it's gonna be a challenge.
19:46It's gotta fit Pampa.
19:47It's gotta be comfortable for him.
19:48It's gotta be safe for him.
19:49And, you know, it's gotta look cool.
19:59Steve!
20:02Hey, what are you up to?
20:03There's the man himself.
20:05The man, the myth, the legend.
20:06How you doing?
20:07Says you can tell we're at Reyes today with a purpose.
20:10I heard that you had a bike frame we're supposed to come take a look at.
20:13Yes, yes, I got it.
20:14I got it back on the other side and, you know, we can go take a look.
20:17Joe said that he was looking for a parts bike.
20:20Shag and Amanda come out to look at it and hopefully they'll be interested and they'll take it.
20:25We'll walk around this way and, you know, see what y'all think about it.
20:28We'll let you lead the way.
20:29Come on.
20:33This is where I got that motorcycle back here, somewhere in the weeds.
20:36Oh, Lord.
20:37Somewhere in the weeds.
20:38Yeah.
20:39My favorite thing.
20:40It's the name of a band.
20:41Yeah, it's over here.
20:42Come on.
20:43Oh, man.
20:44Well, looky, looky.
20:45I believe it's a twin cam Joe was looking for.
20:48And a soft tail.
20:49But I gotta tell you, the bike, when he took the tarp off, it was in better condition than I was expecting.
20:54I thought it was gonna be more of a rusted frame, kind of beat up.
20:57And it actually looks like it's gonna be a great donor for what Joe's gotta do.
21:01We have a fat boy that Pompa bought it like eight years ago and he's had it stashed.
21:05We're just gonna go ahead and build it for him because he's never going to do it.
21:09So we're surprised at him.
21:10All right.
21:11Cause I'm getting rid of stuff.
21:12It doesn't hurt to give Shag and Amanda a good deal to help liquidate it.
21:16Get some of the stuff out of here.
21:17Give me more room.
21:18Yeah.
21:19I'm gonna give y'all a heck of a deal for Pompa on this one.
21:21So.
21:22Oh, yeah?
21:23You guys started at a good price.
21:24We did.
21:25I mean, when he said 25, my goal was to like keep it under 2,000.
21:29I mean, I think coming in around under or at two grand is a good deal.
21:35Oh, no, no.
21:36He just said he's gonna give us a heck of a deal for Pompa.
21:38When I heard him say, because it's Pompa, I'm gonna give you a sweet deal.
21:42I was like, okay, I'm just gonna throw something at the wall and see if it sticks.
21:45How about 1,500?
21:461,500.
21:47I hate when you pay attention, Amanda.
21:49Ah!
21:50And holy, I didn't even think.
21:52I had no idea he was gonna go for that.
21:56Yeah.
21:571,500 for Pompa.
21:581,500?
21:59Really?
22:00I was just low-golling you to see if you would take it.
22:02Only because of Pompa.
22:03That's the only reason.
22:04And y'all are good people.
22:05Y'all come out.
22:06Holy cow.
22:07He gave us a sweet deal.
22:08So, I mean, there's no way we're not taking this thing home.
22:09Let me get my guy, David.
22:10We'll get out here in the loader.
22:11We'll drag it up front and get it out of this jungle.
22:14Hey, note to self.
22:15Tell everyone it's for Pompa.
22:16First thing we wanna do to Pompa's bike are the frame modifications.
22:26Basically, we're gonna rake the frame.
22:28Damn.
22:29Yeah.
22:30That one's never been out.
22:31Damn sure hadn't, has it?
22:32Uh-uh.
22:33Put the smack on that one, Mike.
22:36That one's out.
22:38We're using a factory frame a lot of times.
22:40You know, use an aftermarket frame.
22:41You may feel this neck.
22:42You can order the frame with a built-in rake.
22:44I think it's dried out, brother.
22:46Holy crap.
22:47Well, we'll fix that.
22:48But we're gonna use the stock frame and we're just gonna modify it.
22:51Here we go.
22:57Okay.
22:58All right, boys.
22:59We have a special table for motorcycles.
23:01Okay.
23:02Hell yeah, Mike.
23:03Look at that.
23:04Look at that, son.
23:05Come on.
23:06This table will keep everything squared away so we don't get anything off.
23:09Get the degrees we wanna set it at.
23:11Put it on there and basically cut the neck and literally just pull it out.
23:18Start with five degrees over the stock neck angle.
23:22The casting from Harley, it's actually a casted piece.
23:27Very thick, so it'll take us a while to cut through it.
23:30But it's gonna be very stout.
23:31What do we got here, Mike?
23:32You got it ready to go, huh?
23:33Well, it's like we might have to come up just a tad, brother.
23:36It's definitely a tedious process.
23:37We gotta weld everything up.
23:39And along the way, it's very critical.
23:41We gotta keep taking measurements.
23:43Maybe you just hold it in place and I'll put a tacky dew on it right here.
23:48We can't have the bite tilted or anything.
23:54Because what that'll do is translate into the front end being off.
24:01And then the bite can wobble at high speeds.
24:03It's very critical to keep an eye on the center line.
24:06Man, that's right on, Mike.
24:08I'm good with that.
24:09We better snug that down, son.
24:13Basically, once we do that, we can kind of tack it in place.
24:17Yee!
24:18Reassemble the bike.
24:19Let's see what you got, Mike.
24:20Let's see what you got, brother.
24:24Check out our stance and make sure we got it at the desired rig.
24:28That looks kind of badass.
24:30It looks killer, don't it?
24:31Mm-hmm.
24:32So once we get past it, we're cool.
24:33We can move on to everything else.
24:34That's about where it needs to sit, right?
24:35That's right where it needs to sit, man.
24:37It's amazing how much change that makes.
24:39It is, isn't it?
24:43We got Joe's Ferrari over here in the shop.
24:48Threw it up on the lift.
24:49Now I just got to pull the interior out and get started on these cam belts.
24:52Oh-ho.
24:53That's what that's for.
24:58So this Ferrari is a mid-engine car, which means that the engine is going to be behind the seats.
25:02So the only way to work at the front side of the engine, which is where the cam belts are, will be to remove the interior and get to the access panel that goes to the front of the engine.
25:10So I'm going to have to pull out both of the seats.
25:12I'm going to have to pull out some interior trim panels, package tray area, and that should reveal a little access panel that Ferrari put in there to get to the front of the engine.
25:19Any time you deal with bright yellow connectors and wires inside a car, it usually either means high voltage danger or airbags.
25:27Don't mess with this unless you know what you're doing.
25:29And I'd like to think I know what I'm doing.
25:32There's a lot of steps involved with this, but it is a Ferrari.
25:35There's a lot of engineering in this thing.
25:37It was meant to be one of the best driving cars of its time.
25:40So there's going to be a lot of extra steps and a lot of extra stuff we've got to go through with this one.
25:44What's happening, Jake?
25:45It's coming apart.
25:47This car is really dependable, man.
25:49Amazingly dependable.
25:5112,000 miles when I got it, and I put all those on there.
25:54They're fast and furious miles.
25:56Oh, man, yeah.
25:58Cruising around Dallas, early 2000s.
26:00Why don't you tell the rest of the story?
26:03We got pulled over a couple of times.
26:05Ooh.
26:06Let me correct it.
26:07We got pulled over like seven times.
26:09Joe is modest.
26:11It was always coming back from lunch, it seemed like.
26:13Well, at least he got your lunch.
26:14I mean, about two miles from the restaurant.
26:17Boom.
26:18Oh, man.
26:19Of all places.
26:20Maybe we can get to driving around some more, Mike.
26:22Well, let's go.
26:23I'm ready.
26:25Maybe we'll burn the clutch up next.
26:26Put it in.
26:27Just more work.
26:35So Mike's working on the front end of this bike, the front forks.
26:37And we're making it to adjust to the new rake angle.
26:39Look at that, man.
26:40It'll be all right, huh?
26:41Yeah.
26:42Basically what we did is we cut the original spring down
26:44to accommodate the rake angle, reassembled everything,
26:47put it all back together, and used the stock leg in the assembly,
26:50put it back on.
26:51And right now we're geared up to start building the handlebars.
26:54Let's see.
26:55It'll take just a second.
26:56I sent shagging the man out to Steve Reyes,
26:58and Steve apparently had another fat boy parts bike out there.
27:02The bars will be handmade, but I'm hoping to salvage the clamp
27:05off the bike that we got from Reyes.
27:07Definitely saved us some time using this piece.
27:09We don't have to fabricate it ourselves,
27:10so that'll be our starting point.
27:12All right, Joe.
27:13I got them ready for you, so.
27:15Oh, you sure do.
27:16I'll strip them down.
27:17You can cut them wherever you want them.
27:18These bars on Pampa's bike, you know,
27:19they're aftermarket bars somebody had put on there,
27:21but I know Joe.
27:22He's going to change that and make some really cool ones that go with it.
27:24Damn, Mike.
27:25Can't wait to cut these ugly bastards.
27:26Man, I can't wait before you cut them.
27:27And we may only, you know, have to leave them adjustable.
27:31Yeah.
27:32Pampa, he needs some bars built for comfort, not speed.
27:34So what we're going to do, we're going to save the middle mounting piece,
27:36we're going to cut away the rest of it,
27:37and build something that he can adjust that'll fit him properly.
27:39All right, I'll get these cut up, Mike.
27:41Yep.
27:46We decided on the design of the bike,
27:47we're actually going to choose the stock mount,
27:49which leaves it adjustable.
27:51So even though we're building kind of a small ape hanger,
27:53you know, we like them a little bit forward,
27:54but Pampa's got shorter arms,
27:55where he can pull them back a little bit.
27:57Or if he's more comfortable, he can put them forward.
28:00And hopefully that'll accommodate him.
28:08All right, man.
28:09Yep.
28:10Let me see what I got over here.
28:11Not much left of the handlebars, right?
28:12Now that we've got the bars cut away,
28:14we've got the centerpiece of it that we need.
28:16As Joe says, now it's time for the fun stuff.
28:18We can start fabbing the bars, the pipes, the fenders,
28:20the tank, the front fender.
28:21We'll be done next week, man.
28:23I might ride it tonight.
28:25Yeah.
28:26Might ride it tonight, he says.
28:27All the fab work that goes in these things,
28:29that's what makes them so much fun to build.
28:31All right.
28:32That's all you now.
28:33What's going on here, Zach?
28:34Oh, what's up, Joe?
28:35Well...
28:36How's it cracking, brother?
28:37Got all your interior out, got the cam belts exposed.
28:38Yeah, nice, man.
28:39Next deal we got is you gotta take the crank pulley off.
28:40Oh, yeah.
28:41So we gotta come up with a way of holding the engine
28:42to undo that bolt.
28:43So we're kind of hung up on the Ferrari right now.
28:46We need to get a special tool from Ferrari to hold the flywheel implant.
28:48in order to pull the crank bolt off.
28:49I've heard of this little tool, a little plate or something.
28:50Hmm.
28:51I saw Ferrari sells one, but you know, it's, you know,
28:54it's a 25-year-old car all butt.
28:55You think they're gonna have one of those sitting on the shelf?
28:56And if they do, they ain't gonna be cheap.
28:57Yeah, anything from Ferrari is maybe gonna be cheap.
28:59Yeah, that's a good one.
29:00Yeah, yeah, yeah.
29:01You know what's advice, man?
29:02That's fine.
29:03That's fine.
29:04But I mean, the bike can help them.
29:05All the wheels change something.
29:06That's nice.
29:07Oh, that's nice.
29:08Let's go ahead and get to the big wheel.
29:09That's the big wheel.
29:10Yeah, and that's awesome.
29:11That's fantastic.
29:12Yeah.
29:13You think they're going to have one of those sitting
29:14on the shelf?
29:15And if they do, it ain't going to be cheap.
29:17Yeah, anything from Ferrari is not going to be cheap, brother.
29:19No.
29:20If we order from Ferrari, maybe a while before we get it.
29:23So something I didn't consider.
29:27There you go.
29:28Oh, yeah.
29:30Oh, yes, they just need something to lock out the flywheel.
29:34There's an inspection hole where the flywheel runs.
29:37The clutch, all the assembly is right there.
29:39So basically what we want to do is use that plate, lock it out.
29:42So while we're torquing it with a wrench, doing all this stuff,
29:45we're not going to move anything.
29:46We don't want the cams to get out of sync,
29:48crank to get out of sync.
29:49We don't want anything to move around.
29:51Well, hell, we can probably make our own, Zach.
29:52Yeah, I figured we could.
29:53It'd be cool to have anyway.
29:54Yeah, exactly.
29:55Down the road, may need it again, man.
29:56You ever do it?
29:57Yeah.
29:57You know what I mean?
29:58Just draw something up in the plasma table, get it cut out.
30:01Let's do that, man.
30:02Yeah.
30:02I'll put it in my makeshift tool collection, man,
30:04for Ferraris, you know?
30:07First time working on a Ferrari, got to make some tools
30:09here and there.
30:09So I think what I'm going to do is go ahead and kind of make
30:12my design on a piece of cardboard and then transfer it
30:14over to the plasma table and get it cut out.
30:21I don't think it's going to be too big a deal.
30:23I'll just take the measurements off the little bolt pattern.
30:26Zach can take measurements from that.
30:27And from there, we'll weld the teeth on there that hold
30:29everything in place.
30:30And I think we can engineer something that's going to work
30:32fine.
30:32All right, so I got this thing all cut out right here.
30:37All I got to do is clean all this rust off of it,
30:40tap a couple of holes, throw some bolts in it,
30:42we'll be good to go.
30:44Damn, dude.
30:45Look at that, man.
30:47Saved $500 already off the tool, man.
30:51So next step, man, I guess we're locked out now, right?
30:53Yeah, now we can start pulling this crank bolt out.
30:55That's cool, dude.
30:56All right, good work, brother.
30:58This is officially Martin Bro's first Ferrari tool made.
31:02Got ahead and threw the logo in it.
31:04So it's now branded, you know, trademarked.
31:06Buys on the website.
31:18The bike exhaust, you know, you got a lot of things to consider.
31:20But we've got to make sure it looks cool.
31:22Probably the first thing.
31:24It's got to work good.
31:24It's got to add horsepower, hopefully.
31:26It's got to sound good, and we don't want to burn legs.
31:28We don't want to scrape in the ground.
31:30So it's kind of tricky getting everything to look good
31:32and making it work.
31:35I'm going to start right at the head.
31:37I'll put the brackets on and start with little pieces coming out.
31:40Belly aching blue.
31:41What you belly aching for?
31:43That'll kind of determine from that point where it's going to go.
31:49Baby, I'm trying to make TV here.
31:51Trying to make TV.
31:53I got to go around the cam cover.
31:54I got the downpost.
31:55I got the center post.
31:56I got, you know, a lot of things to consider.
31:59There can be a lot of pieces on exhaust systems.
32:00I mean, there can be three up to 100.
32:04Hopefully, we'll keep it down to a minimum.
32:06And hopefully, I got good radiuses and good bends out
32:08of my stash here to put something really cool together
32:11that looks good and runs good, sounds good.
32:25The bike exhaust is different from a car.
32:28Car exhaust, you don't want to see it.
32:30You want everything to be hidden away.
32:31The motorcycle exhaust is out in the open.
32:33You want it to look cool.
32:34It's got to work good.
32:35And it can't burn your leg.
32:36You can't drag it around.
32:37The style of bike we're doing for Pomp,
32:48you know, it's got the long fenders on it.
32:50Give it kind of a long, classic look.
32:51So the pipes need to kind of complement that, really.
33:00Man, look at that.
33:01What's wrong with that, Mike?
33:02Is there anything wrong with that?
33:03No, that's really cool.
33:06Once again, Joe, two knots for the pump.
33:09Two knots for the pumper?
33:09Yeah.
33:10And I figured we'd do this because we've
33:11been chasing around with snakes and firecrackers.
33:13We're kind of owing back, Mike, you know what I mean?
33:15Yeah, but Joe, here's the thing, man.
33:16You can chase for the next eight years,
33:17throw snakes and firecrackers at me.
33:19But then I want a free motorcycle.
33:21Yeah.
33:21I'd take a free bike with somebody through snakes
33:23and firecrackers at me, I guess.
33:31Let me 250 this one.
33:32Twist on it.
33:33That's 250.
33:35Oh, that's it, man.
33:37That's it.
33:38So what we're doing now is we're mocking up handlebars.
33:41Am I grounded up?
33:43We're right there, brother.
33:44We're going to put kind of a higher rise bar,
33:4610-inch bar on here.
33:48No, here we go.
33:50So right now, we're just going to tack them in place
33:51and kind of see where I want to be.
33:53Oh, yeah, man.
33:55Let me see now.
33:56Damn, that's perfect, man.
33:57Location.
33:58Look at that.
33:59Yeah, we've got a lot of things to factor in.
34:00Papa's little T-Rex arms.
34:02My man.
34:03Pull it toward you, Mike.
34:04His belly's going to be kind of, so I don't know.
34:08We've got a lot of factors to figure out.
34:10But we're going to wing it, see how these bars look.
34:13That's perfection right there, son.
34:16I can't do it without moving it.
34:19You're going to have to mark it.
34:20You're sneaking up on it, or what?
34:21Don't do it with nothing, son.
34:22I was sneaking up on it.
34:23You're just sneaking up on it.
34:24That's going to give us a, you see that?
34:27I don't want to scare it, Mike.
34:28I saw it.
34:33Right there, man.
34:34Here we go.
34:36Double pedal.
34:37Oh, that's it there, man.
34:39I think we might be out a little far.
34:41Are you serious?
34:42Maybe.
34:43You think so, huh?
34:45Yeah, come here and look at it.
34:47Look at it from down, looking up at it.
34:49Oh, man.
34:51I got this way out of whack.
34:52How the do I do that?
34:54Oh, .
34:55What in the hell?
34:56Are we not on our mark?
34:58Right on it.
34:59How in the hell did I get that that far off, brother?
35:02Well, that's a re-break.
35:04We ain't done this in a while, but we'll get it.
35:14Oh, wow.
35:14That's really nice.
35:15So I got the piece made out and get the flywheel locked up
35:18and get this timing belt changed.
35:20So once I get the engine locked in place,
35:22I can go ahead and ensure that all the timing marks are lined up.
35:24Then we're going to loosen the tensioner
35:25and change the belts out.
35:27So because this is an interference engine,
35:34that means that when the piston's at top dead center
35:37and the valve is open all the way,
35:38they occupy the same space.
35:40It's not overly difficult,
35:41but you just got to really pay attention.
35:44So if I got this timing belt even one tooth off,
35:46that could mean that when this thing's revving up,
35:49pistons meet valves, it means this engine would be toast.
35:52If I blow up an LS motor, that's only a couple grand.
35:54If I blow this up, who knows where you're going to find
35:57a new motor for this.
35:58So this has to be a very precise job.
36:00Nothing can go wrong.
36:06Hopefully we're good.
36:07I saw nothing move.
36:08Everything was lined up as it should be,
36:09so we should be good.
36:14Technically, the way Ferrari tells how tight these belts are
36:16is you're supposed to use like a harmonic tester
36:18and like twang it, and it resonates at a certain frequency
36:21when it's tight enough.
36:23But I don't have one of those.
36:25I'm just kind of doing it by ear
36:27because I'm not a nice Ferrari mechanic.
36:29That side seems to be good.
36:34This side's more annoying.
36:35A lot less space.
36:36I think it's pretty close.
36:38I think we're good.
36:39My ears are kind of in tune a little bit,
36:40so I think we're good to go here.
36:41They're sounding even each side, so I think we're all good.
36:44They're sounding even each side, so I think we're all good.
36:45They're sounding even each side, so I think we're all good.
36:48Damn, how in the hell I get it that far out of whack?
36:52I don't know what the hell I did.
36:53I did something funky.
36:54All right, tack that right there, Mike.
36:55Here we go.
36:56Oh, that's a lot better, man.
36:58Oh, that's a lot better, man.
36:59This guy could go up.
37:00Does it?
37:01Made my eyes a bear this morning.
37:03Huh?
37:04I think we're all good.
37:05I think we're all good.
37:08I think we're all good.
37:10I think we're all good.
37:11I think we're all good.
37:15Damn, how in the hell I get it that far out of whack?
37:18I don't know what the hell I did.
37:19I did something funky.
37:21All right, tack that right there, Mike.
37:22Here we go.
37:23Oh, that's a lot better, man.
37:25This guy can go up.
37:26Does it?
37:27Does it?
37:27Made my eyes a bear this morning, huh?
37:30Let me clean this thing up here, brother.
37:31It'd be all right.
37:33Oh, yeah.
37:34You know, after we start faving and getting these bars just
37:36right on Pompa's bike was more than we expected.
37:38You know what?
37:39Maybe you ought to bend another piece
37:40and we'll use this for this side.
37:41Yes.
37:42And then we'll use your new bends for this, huh?
37:44Yeah.
37:44We're a little out of shape on these things,
37:46so it took a little bit longer than we thought.
37:47Let me get two more of these here.
37:48Because these are exact, right?
37:49Yep.
37:50Yeah, we need these on the bottom.
37:51Yep.
37:52We'll get the hang of it, Joe.
37:53It'd be all right.
37:54We might have to go to lunch first, but it'd be all right.
37:57We need to go to lunch.
38:03It ain't never took it this long, Joe.
38:05I know.
38:06That's all right.
38:07You look like Little Bo Peep.
38:08It is, ain't it?
38:09Little Bo Peep, son.
38:11How'd she lose her sheep, man?
38:12I don't know.
38:13That's your only job, and she lost them.
38:15Drop the ball, brother.
38:16What the hell?
38:17Drop the damn ball.
38:23So this one will go here.
38:24So this is one of the new ones.
38:26And this one will go here.
38:27Yep, that's right.
38:28That's right.
38:29It's coming to me, Mike.
38:37Yeah, that's pretty killer there, man.
38:38I dig it.
38:46Ain't got a tack yet.
38:47That's grounded.
38:48Oh, man.
38:50What's the matter?
38:51That weld's moving it all around.
38:52Oh, I got it all goobered up, look.
38:55We're going to do this a couple times.
38:56I guarantee it, boy.
38:57Coming back to me.
38:58All right, well, it better come on pretty soon, Joe.
39:05Here we go.
39:07I don't know what's going to try to walk.
39:12Let me see what you got.
39:14Pretty damn good, brother.
39:15That's pretty good, right?
39:16Yep, that's it.
39:17Here we go.
39:20When you're building these bars, it takes a lot.
39:22So there was a lot of tacking, breaking loose,
39:23tacking, breaking loose.
39:25It takes a while to get them exactly where you want them
39:27because they got to match.
39:28Yeah, I don't think it's going to get
39:29much better than that, man.
39:31But now we finally got them locked in,
39:32we can weld them up.
39:34Dude, that right on, man.
39:36Well, let's go with it.
39:39So we got our bars wrapped up here on Palm's bike.
39:41And we just did a little 10-inch rise.
39:44And it worked out great.
39:44I think it's going to be too tall.
39:46It's going to be too low.
39:47Man, look at that.
39:48What's wrong with that, mate?
39:49I'm just saying, man.
39:53We made it where he can adjust them still.
39:55Didn't make them solid.
39:56So we can kind of move them back, move them forward
39:58a little bit.
39:58But they turned out pretty good.
39:59Feels great, man.
40:00Still got room.
40:02We got, you know.
40:03We'll weld up these ends right here.
40:05And the grips will go on.
40:06The hand controls will mount to this one-inch piece.
40:09Once they're in place, the bars pretty much
40:10finished up.
40:11Looks good.
40:12And I say we weld up these bars, mate.
40:13We'll move on to the pipes.
40:14We're on the right track.
40:15Call it a day, brother.
40:16The front end's looking good.
40:17Looking good.
40:19The front end's looking real good.
40:20Looking good.
40:26You know, Joe and Mandy were out of town.
40:27We actually got the wheels and tires back on his Ferrari.
40:33It's looking beautiful.
40:34Yes, sir.
40:35So now we actually get to reveal it to him and Mandy
40:38as they get back.
40:40It's a good day for a reveal.
40:47You know, we roll up.
40:48Mike's sitting there in a chair.
40:49In the driveway.
40:51Man, I got something for you today.
40:54Oh, yeah?
40:55Yeah.
40:55Yeah.
40:56You're going to love it, Joe.
40:57Mike's usually got his head down working most of the time.
40:59So yeah, it's a little strange.
41:01He's just sitting there.
41:01Like he's on vacation.
41:02In the chair, sunning down the driveway.
41:05Getting some rays.
41:06The only thing missing was a margarita.
41:07Yeah.
41:08You got a surprise for you?
41:09Yeah.
41:10I got a surprise for you.
41:18Look at it.
41:18Damn, man.
41:19Look at it.
41:21So Joe's had this Ferrari sitting in his garage forever.
41:23So it's really time we had to do an update on it.
41:26Well, Joe, she's ready to go.
41:27Damn, Zach.
41:28It really needed a timing belt change.
41:30So we got that done for him.
41:31We did new gaskets, new oil, new tires.
41:33You got tires from this century?
41:35I got me new tires.
41:37You got a cam belt made in a country that still exists.
41:39Yeah.
41:40No kidding, man.
41:42Kind of did a full refresh on this car for him.
41:44So it's going to be brand new to him.
41:45What more could you ask for?
41:46Look at that.
41:46Got new shoes.
41:47No shoes.
41:48The tires on this car were old and dry rotted and wore out.
41:52You digging it?
41:53I'm digging it.
41:53So yeah, we got new tires on it.
41:55Got some new shoes.
41:56Damn.
41:57It's good to go.
41:58It's good to go, man.
41:59New timing belt and just a nice tune-up.
42:01Zach got the timing belt on.
42:03He's got it all tuned up.
42:04He's ready to roll, brother.
42:04Man, I can use it now.
42:05You want to go for a ride?
42:06No excuses now.
42:07Let's go for a ride.
42:08Get it.
42:09You've been called out now.
42:09Damn, man.
42:24There goes the new tires.
42:25Yeah.
42:28Oh my god.
42:29Exactly.
42:30This car was made for the Hill Country.
42:31It was made for the Hill Country.
42:32That's exactly what it was made for.
42:34It's a Hill Country cruiser right here.
42:36I just always like this style.
42:38In this car, I lowered it, wheels been powder-coated, got 19s and 20s on it.
42:47It's got the super trick exhaust.
42:51Well, it definitely has a distinct sound.
42:52Yeah, you can't beat the sound of these things, that's for sure.
43:00This car has been sitting for a long time.
43:01It's just kind of nice to get the car, getting to where we can use it again.
43:02But now it just gives me the confidence to drive it again, not worry about breaking a belt.
43:06Yeah.
43:07Spin it out with bad, dry old tires.
43:08Yeah.
43:09Now we can enjoy it again.
43:11Now we can enjoy it again.
43:12Whoop!
43:13Whoop!
