With Good Friday approaching, we ask locals how they celebrate Easter. Will the rising cost of fish and chips affect their traditions? Do they have plans for the weekend and family get-togethers?

00:00So, family are over from Australia. We're spending Easter together in Ludlow. We've
00:05booked a big house this year. I don't think we're intending on fish and chips
00:08on the Friday. We said we were going to cook. Yeah, we'll definitely cook on the
00:12Friday and there'll be lots of hot crust buns on the Sunday. Yeah. I tend to have
00:16fish and chips every Friday to be honest. It's a bit of a tradition in our house so
00:19Granddad comes around and we have a takeaway so I don't think that'll be any
00:22different for us. I think probably it's four of our mini fish and chips and a
00:25full-size portion there because like you say about the prices. Easter traditions
00:29try and stop the kids eating all the chocolate as fast as they possibly can
00:32is about it in our house. No really I'm just trying to, I don't really have any Easter
00:37traditions. It's a time where I take a little bit of time off, see some family,
00:41see some friends, kick back a little bit but no real traditions. My social
00:46secretary is coming back from the South Coast today. That's my wife and so I'll
00:54find out but I've got grandchildren here so I'm sure we'll be doing something with
00:58them next weekend for sure.
