00:49Ipoh District Police Chief Assistant Commissioner Abang Zainal Abidin Abang Ahmad said,
00:54a 40-year-old City Council enforcement officer lodged a police report about the incident
01:00at approximately 6.43 p.m. on Wednesday.
01:04Preliminary investigations revealed that a restaurant worker became aggressive towards
01:08the enforcement officers who were attempting to confiscate furniture placed on a five-foot walkway
01:14following a complaint from the City Council's health department.
01:18The worker allegedly used vulgar language, obstructed the officers, and punched one of them.
01:23The case is being investigated under Sections 353 and 186 of the Penal Code
01:29for using criminal force to obstruct a public servant from performing duties
01:33and under Section 14 of the Minor Offenses Act 1955, revised 1987, for using abusive language.
01:42Statements are currently being recorded from witnesses to assist in the investigation.
