00:00But why do you think he's lashing out at Ukraine at this particular moment?
00:05I mean, it's not the Ukrainians that are stalling, as far as I can see.
00:09I mean, the Ukrainians have said they're ready for peace.
00:11They've played ball, I think it's fair to say, from the Trump administration's point of view.
00:16I mean, there's another party that's not playing ball here.
00:19And it does seem to be Russia, doesn't it?
00:21Yeah, agreed.
00:23I think it is Russia.
00:24But I do think there's some frustrations.
00:26I think when Zelensky comes out and says things that are critical of J.D. Vance or the president, they're going to push back on that, because those comments are also not productive at this time.
00:39So, you know, the time for that is a quiet phone call and not in social media or in a public forum.
00:46So I think the president is frustrated with that.
00:49And I think the things that he said specifically about Vice President Vance were really unhelpful.
00:55And I don't think that's, you know, we're talking about a very delicate moment in this.
01:01And the alternative is all out war.
01:03If the argument is we, the West, need to beat Russia or beat Putin, because if we don't, he's going to keep going or we're not going to have that kind of deterrence.
01:14It'll enable bad behavior.
01:17Well, that's fine.
01:18It's a great conceptual argument.
01:20But I haven't seen anybody in Western Europe agree to send soldiers.
