00:00Hi, this is Chris from the band Coldplay. We're in Hong Kong. I just wanted to make a video, because we haven't done it for a long time, and firstly to say thank you to everybody who came to the shows in Hong Kong, which I was a bit nervous about, but people were so lovely, and we're so lucky everywhere we go, so thank you.
00:21So, I've noticed a few people recently, including myself, struggling a bit with depression, and so I was going to tell you some things that have been helping me on tour and in general, in hopes that maybe some of them might be good for you too.
00:42There's some drilling in the background, there's dogs barking, there's all kinds of chaos, but that's life, I guess.
00:48So, the first thing I wanted to tell you was that there's a thing called free-form writing, where you write for 12 minutes all your thoughts and then burn it or throw it away. That's very good.
01:01Transcendental meditation has been really wonderful for me. TM. We'll put links below all this stuff.
01:07There's a thing called proprioception, which is kind of body movement to help balance your brain, basically.
01:17There's a man called Jim Costello who did a thing called the Costello Method.
01:21That's very helpful, especially for young people with ADHD or autism or things like that.
01:28The music of John Hopkins, music for psychedelic therapy, is incredible.
01:32A book called The Oxygen Advantage. See?
01:39It's great for breathing.
01:42Then, movies are great. There's a movie called Sing Sing I love.
01:46And there's a new artist called Chloe Keisha.
01:51Her music is making me happy.
01:54There's some people dancing over there, look.
01:58Practicing some, maybe dancing too.
01:59And anyway, those are some of the things that are helping me to stay grateful and happy to be alive.
02:06Hope you're okay and I send you much love.
02:08And if you're coming to Seoul, we'll see you soon.
02:11Bye.
