00:00Fish remains affordable at the Balintawak market despite a slight increase in prices as reported by the Department of Agriculture or DA due to the high demand during Holy Week.
00:10The price of round scad or galonggong has dropped by nearly 100 pesos while prices of commonly purchased fish varieties in Balintawak remain reasonable, some even lower compared to the DA's monitored prices.
00:22Bangos is being sold at 160 to 190 pesos per kilo, lower than the DA's prevailing price of 220 pesos.
00:31Telapia remains within the standard price of 160 pesos per kilo.
00:35Round scad fetches between 200 to 220 pesos per kilo, which is significantly lower than the DA's monitored price of 300 pesos per kilo.
00:45The DA has announced that fish prices may continue to drop next week.
