We ask locals to name their favourite UK airport and what makes it stand out. With flight prices rising, are people being priced out of their regional airports and forced to travel further afield for better deals?

00:00My favourite airport I would say is Heathrow, but for location, Birmingham, because it's
00:09near. Birmingham can be good and bad, and so can Heathrow. You can get queues, something
00:15breaks down or whatever. You just have to take part of luck. But Heathrow is very professional.
00:22Birmingham is OK.
00:24I don't know if they've got a favourite. I think to be fair, a lot of our holidays
00:28tended to be in the UK. We have recently been away to Turkey. We ended up going to Stansted
00:34because the deal here was better than going to Birmingham Airport. So yes, we have been
00:38priced out, so it's a shame we couldn't go a little bit local.
00:42I think it's more common these days, though, to not even look at your local airport for
00:47someone in the UK because we're such a small country. It's really easy for us to go, actually
00:51the flights are 200 quid cheaper from Heathrow. Let's make the two-hour drive down from Birmingham
00:57instead.
