00:00You know, as you know, every time I went down to, uh, Rough and Rowdy, I recorded a Raw Dog episode.
00:09And, uh, I, uh, tried to promote the next Rough and Rowdy.
00:14Well, eventually that was gonna end.
00:19And, uh, it doesn't look like there's gonna be any Rough and Rowdy anytime soon.
00:23So, uh, back in August, uh, I went to this place, uh, in, uh, Gullah, it was called Gullahs in, uh, Ohio, I think it was, well, here's the episode.
00:35Take me out for some hot dogs.
00:38Alright, it's time for another Rough and Rowdy.
00:41And, you know, every time I go to a Rough and Rowdy, I have to do a Raw Dog.
00:45Uh, well, as you get ready for Rough and Rowdy 26, I went to a place called Gullah's Lunch back when Rough and Rowdy 25 was going on.

01:03Today's Rough and Rowdy 25.

01:06But we'll be, uh, just be clearing when it's Rough and Rowdy 26.
01:10Janks is an idiot.
01:10And, you know, I really couldn't find any place in Wheeling, so I had to go next door to Ohio, Bel Air, Ohio, and, well, here it is, Gullah's next door.
01:26And they've been serving hot dogs for well over 40 years.
01:31But we're gonna see just how good those hot dogs are as we come to Bel Air, Ohio, with these high mountains, these high trestles of railroads.
01:40And valleys and weed just close to the Ohio River and see just how good these hot dogs are.
01:54Those flags are a little weird, aren't they?
01:56Uh, yeah.
01:57It feels very communist.
01:58It feels medieval to me.

02:29By golly, it's a Gullah.
02:32That's what they have been saying for well over 70 years.
02:40It had a previous location, also located in Bel Air, but it's been here at this location on Belmont Street since 1984.
02:49And they've been serving up hot dogs and their unique sauce, what they call it, Gullah Dog.
02:54So, well, we're gonna be reviewing the hot dogs.
02:58Uh, they look like they're, uh, advertising for Mel.
03:01I don't know if they still have for Mel.
03:02I don't sign, but this is their hot dog.
03:05And they're grilled right there, right in front of you.
03:08You see the grill?
03:08And, uh, well, the bun to dog ratio is okay.
03:18It's not too, the dog, it's not sticking out for the dog, it's almost even with the bun.
03:24And it's got a good coloring, but the most important part is how does it taste.
03:28It's a nice little chawing to it, nice little cook.
03:44Good enough to earn this hot dog a double.
03:58All right, now here is their Gullah Dog.
04:04It is a meatless chili sauce, kind of almost like a marinara sauce if you think about it.
04:10And it had, you can get it with onions and, uh, mustard, but you know I don't do onions and mustard.
04:16But I got cheese on it, shredded cheese.
04:18But let's see how this one tastes.
04:28Yeah, there's something lacking in here.
04:30Not bad, it has good taste.
04:36But I think that meat sauce that you usually have in something is missing.
04:40So I'm going to give this a single.
04:51You know, we're your culpa.
04:55I've been saying this name wrong.

05:02And you know, there's an Americana fuel in, uh, Bel Air, Ohio.
05:11You know, this is, this is Appalachia at its best.
05:18Just crossed the river from Wheeling, West Virginia.
05:21And of course, rough and rowdy.

05:28And, uh, you know, that's how much of this is all about.
