Hailee Steinfeld, Michael B. Jordan and Wunmi Mosaku spent a lot of time together filming ‘Sinners’—but was it long enough to tell when the others are bluffing? In this episode of “Where Is The Lie?” the co-stars take turns trying to guess which wild fact is made up, from Hailee losing a tooth mid-scene to Michael’s (possible) multiple ‘Sesame Street’ cameos. Can Wunmi convince Hailee and Michael she actually ran away to Glastonbury Festival at 13—and is it really free for under-14s? Plus, find out if Michael B. Jordan can even remember his own lie, or if Hailee and Wunmi are just *that* good at this game.

Watch ’Sinners’ in theaters April 18th.

00:00She can't sing.
00:00I wanted to play.
00:03No, I said you can't sing.
00:04I said she can sing.
00:05You said you can't sing.
00:06You can, you can.
00:08Answer the questions.
00:10What did you do?
00:11Did I just ruin the game?
00:25Preliminary evidence.
00:26I was a member of the Porridge Lovers Club
00:29on Sesame Street.
00:33My first film role was in Hardball.
00:36I know how to drive a stick shift.
00:39When did you learn?
00:41How old are you?
00:43What was the character's name?
00:46Answer the questions.
00:47Don't take up our time.
00:48Jamal.
00:49I learned how to drive a stick
00:51when I was about 15 years old.
00:54Okay, what kind of car was it?
00:56It was a Camaro T-top.
00:57Okay, what color?
00:58Red.
00:59You thought about that for a while.
01:00I did.
01:00Where did you film the porridge-loving scenes?
01:04Queens, New York.
01:06What did you do?
01:08How do you show your love for porridge?
01:10You eat porridge.
01:11Oh.
01:12I mean, you just...
01:13Was it an entire...
01:14Can you tell us part?
01:14It was a bowl.
01:15You know, it was recorded.
01:16It was weird.
01:16So, you know, you have to take a couple...
01:18Was this like one episode?
01:19Can you explain the part a little bit more?
01:22You know, Sesame Street.
01:24Yeah, we got that part.
01:25How old were you?
01:26Ten.
01:27Ten?
01:27Ten.
01:28I was a small ten.
01:29Okay.
01:30So I was still on Sesame Street, you know?
01:31Okay.
01:31Yeah.
01:32So what was your character doing in your first film?
01:35Playing baseball.
01:36Okay.
01:36Getting kicked off the team.
01:37How old were you?
01:38I was about 14.
01:39Brian Robbins.
01:40Okay.
01:40I feel like he can drive a stick shift, just because I feel like he likes cars.
01:54Okay.
01:56But I feel like driving cars is fun when you can drive a stick shift.
02:00I feel like he was more recently on Sesame Street, and I felt like that was a really big
02:04deal for him, and I don't know if it's because it was like a reoccurring thing, or if that
02:08was the first time.
02:09Yeah, and I feel like he said...
02:10I was a ten, and then I feel like he went back on himself, because he said I was a small
02:14ten, and I feel like he went back on himself, because he was like, a ten's probably too old
02:18to be on Sesame Street eating porridge.
02:20I'm going to go with Sesame Street.
02:21Yeah, I think it's like, oh, it's like, yeah.
02:24Sesame Street?
02:29Yeah, that was good.
02:30Is that the lie?
02:30Yeah, that's the lie.
02:31Let's go!
02:32Come on, me!
02:33Woo!
02:34That's good!
02:34Yay!
02:35Wait, was that a lie?
02:36We had that as a truth.
02:37Which one's lie, then?
02:38You were a member of the Porridge Lovers Club on Sesame Street?
02:40No, no, no, that was only what I was unsure about.
02:42The other two were correct.
02:44Oh my god, what?
02:45I'm confused.
02:46You had your first film role with Black and White.
02:47Oh, shit.
02:48Our film's not your first film role.
02:49Oh, yeah, you're right.
02:50That's crazy!
02:51You don't even know?
02:53Did I just ruin the game?
02:54I'm sorry.
02:55I feel like we convinced him.
02:56You did!
02:57I was like, no, that's a lie!
02:59I said, what?
02:59I was nervous.
03:00I was free-balling at that point.
03:02I was just making it up.
03:15Preliminary evidence.
03:16I had a lizard named Frank growing up that I found at my uncle's ranch.
03:21I once lost a tooth in the middle of filming a scene.
03:25I had someone assigned to put contacts in my eyes every day while I was filming a show
03:31that called me Sweet Petunia.
03:34What kind of lizard was he?
03:35It was a, like, spotted gecko.
03:38Spotted gecko.
03:39Yeah.
03:39What was his terranium like?
03:42That I kept him in?
03:43Yeah, what color was it?
03:44It was, I didn't have one.
03:45I just literally found it under a rock and then held it as long as I could.
03:49Mm.
03:50Kept it with me.
03:51This eye contact professional, what movie was it?
03:53Oh, it was Hawkeye.
03:55Huh.
03:55Hawkeye.
03:56How convenient.
03:58It was a little bit of a weird thing, too, because, like, you know, some days you come on set
04:01and it's like, you don't really want to talk to anybody and you got somebody in your ear
04:04just going, hey, Sweet Petunia, how you doing?
04:06What tooth was it that you missed?
04:07Which one?
04:07Yeah, this one.
04:08How did you do the tooth?
04:10So I was filming this scene where I was thrown over somebody's shoulder.
04:13I knocked my tooth on their shoulder and my tooth went pew!
04:16Huh.
04:17What color was your gecko?
04:18It was, like, a lizard gray, like, gray?
04:22Gray?
04:22Gray lizard?
04:23I don't know.
04:23You tell me.
04:24It was yours.
04:24Uh-huh.
04:25And how big was it?
04:26Oh, it was a little thing.
04:27I caught it.
04:27It was just, I would hold it in my hand.
04:29Okay.
04:29Little Frank is what you called it.
04:30Yeah.
04:35I don't know.
04:37I mean.
04:39I was just confused about the Petunia thing.
04:41Petunia was a little weird.
04:43It was a little weird.
04:44The Hawkeye thing was a little too convenient for me.
04:45I don't know.
04:46Between that and Frank.
04:47Frank gives me weird vibes.
04:49Yeah.
04:49But then she's kind of softened when she said, my uncle's ranch.
04:52And I feel like she's a ranch kind of girl, too.
04:55That's where he's going to skip over there.
04:56Spend time outside.
04:57Okay.
04:58Okay.
04:58Yeah, I can see that.
04:59I'm thinking it's the Petunia.
05:01But I mean, signed every day.
05:02I kind of believe that process is because we had contacts in before.
05:05So there's a contact technician.
05:07Yeah.
05:07And then she's there.
05:07Yeah.
05:07Yeah.
05:08Yeah.
05:08Well, then the tooth.
05:09The tooth was weird.
05:10The tooth was weird.
05:11But I do feel like that's something that could happen on set so easily.
05:15What do you think?
05:15We're going to contact.
05:16Let's go to contact.
05:16Contact.
05:17Contact.
05:17Contact.
05:17That was not my life.
05:23Better not be Frank.
05:25May I miss Frank?
05:25You might be Frank.
05:26Oh, man.
05:28I knew it.
05:28You knew it.
05:30You did.
05:30You're a good actor.
05:32Uncle's ranch.
05:33She's like, she's hiding something like that.
05:34She's like, my uncle's ranch.
05:35Little guy.
05:37What?
05:37I know.
05:38You don't remember a couple of girls?
05:39I don't know.
05:39He didn't have a break out.
05:41Do we have those?
05:47Preliminary evidence.
05:55I sewed my own wedding dress.
05:58I was in a band at high school.
06:02I ran away to Glastonbury Music Festival when I was 13.
06:05And this music festival was in the UK?
06:07Uh-huh.
06:08It's quite far.
06:09Glastonbury's really far from Manchester.
06:11How'd you pay for it?
06:12It's free if you're under 14.
06:13Okay.
06:14Hmm.
06:15Okay.
06:15And you sewed your own wedding dress.
06:17Yeah, did you?
06:17How long did that take you?
06:20Uh, it was a, honestly?
06:22Yeah, honestly.
06:23I would say like a week.
06:26A week.
06:27To actually do it, but I did like a test run.
06:29So I would say the test run including.
06:31Was that something you always planned to do?
06:32Yeah.
06:33Alter your own.
06:33It was a dream.
06:34It was a dream of yours.
06:35It was a dream of mine.
06:36To alter your own wedding dress.
06:37To sew it.
06:38To sew it.
06:39From scratch.
06:39Oh!
06:40Let's talk about the band.
06:41Let's talk about the band.
06:41Okay, the band.
06:4213, you said?
06:43No, that was Glastonbury.
06:44I was in high school.
06:45High school.
06:45High school.
06:46What was the name?
06:46Sagittarius rule.
06:50Sagittarius rule.
06:50You're not a Sag.
06:51I know.
06:51Was somebody a Sag in the band?
06:53I was in love with a Sagittarius.
06:55There was someone in the band who was a Sagittarius.
06:57What instrument did you play in the band?
06:58I was a singer.
07:00Okay.
07:01She can't sing.
07:02I wanted to play.
07:04No, I said you can't sing.
07:05I said she can sing.
07:06She can't sing.
07:07She can sing.
07:07You can sing.
07:09You can.
07:09You can.
07:10Okay.
07:10Do anything.
07:11You know, I get it.
07:11I remember.
07:12You know, we're here.
07:13I feel like we've talked about your wedding and I've never heard you talk about that.
07:19Never once talked about the show.
07:21That was a dream?
07:22I know she can sing, so I believe the band, which I also believe the music festival.
07:26She's a little bit of a rebel.
07:27Look at that eye.
07:28Look rebellious.
07:29The wedding dress is crazy.
07:31Insane.
07:31That's, like, really cool if you did that.
07:34I'm not saying you're not cool, but just think that you did it.
07:37Thanks for clarifying.
07:39The wedding dress.
07:40Sure.
07:41I think wedding dress.
07:41Wedding dress?
07:42Wedding dress?
07:47Is that true?
07:48I told you my own wedding dress.
07:49Where did you leave that detail now?
07:50What are you talking about?
07:51Well, the wedding got canceled, right, because of COVID.
07:53Oh my God, that's right.
07:54Someone's never told you about my wedding day.
07:56Like, you know, yeah, I said my own wedding dress.
07:58Okay, wait, wait, wait, wait.
08:00Our second guess.
08:00Our second guess.
08:02The band?
08:04I kind of think it's Glastonbury, but you think it's the band.
08:06I think it's the band.
08:07No, what's the last one?
08:08Glastonbury, when she ran away.
08:10Oh, man.
08:10Yeah, let's go.
08:11I'll go with it.
08:12Go.
08:13Glastonbury.
08:14No.
08:14That was true?
08:16It was the band?
08:17It was the band.
08:18It was the band.
08:19Sagittarius what?
08:20Sagittarius.
08:21Sagittarius.
08:22Oh, no.
08:24Yeah.
08:24Yeah, where'd you pull that one out?
08:25I don't know, but I was like,
08:27if they're going to go with it, great.
08:30Damn it.
