00:17Saudi Arabia will prohibit entry into Mecca or remaining in the city for anyone holding a visa other than a hedge visa starting April 29.
00:26Expatriates, without a valid permit, will also be banned from entering Mecca from April 23.
00:35Permits for entry will be granted only to individuals whose residency is officially registered in Mecca or those holding a valid hedge permit or individuals authorized to work within the holy sites.
00:47Requests for the permits can be submitted electronically through the Apsha Individuals Platform or the Mekim Portal.
00:53This is part of a broader set of measures to regulate this year's hedge season and ensure the safety and security of all pilgrims.
01:02The Ministry of Interior announced on Saturday the latest hedge-related regulations ahead of the 2025 pilgrimage season.
01:09It confirmed that Sunday, 15 Shawal 1446 corresponding to April 13, 2025, will be the final date for Unruh pilgrims to enter the kingdom,
01:21while the last date for all the foreign pilgrims to leave the kingdom is Tuesday, 1 Dhulchida 1446 corresponding to April 29, 2025.
01:30Expatriates, seeking entry into Mecca, will be required to obtain official hedge permits from the relevant authorities effective from Wednesday, 25 Shawal 1446 corresponding to April 23, 2025.
01:47Those who do not have valid hedge permits will be denied entry and returned to their point of origin.
01:52The Ministry announced that the issuance of Amra permits via the Nusik platform will be suspended for Saudi citizens,
01:59GCC nationals, expatriates in Saudi Arabia, and other visa holders effective from Tuesday, April 29.
02:07This suspension will remain in effect until Monday, 14 Dhul Hijah 1446 corresponding to June 10, 2025.
02:15The Ministry reiterated that entry into Mecca or remaining within the city will be strictly limited to holders of official hedge visas, effective from April 29.
02:27The Ministry urged all individuals and hedge servers providing companies and establishments to comply with these regulations,
02:34warning that violators will face legal penalties.
02:38It emphasized the importance of cooperation to ensure the safety and sanctity of the pilgrimage.
02:44Everybody living in the kingdom should avoid by laws and should not involve in any activity that can create troublesome later.
