02:40Çünkü, I know, Blue Orchid does everything they can
02:42to make this as safe as possible,
02:44as safe as possible,
02:46and you all have an impeccable safety record,
02:48but it still has to feel really good
02:50when you know that you're coming back to Earth
02:52with those parachutes fully deployed.
03:02And we can see the capsule
03:04just over our shoulder here
03:06going to be landing north and east
03:09of the launch pad
03:11coming down softly and beautifully.
03:15500 feet.
03:24And you will see a puff of smoke
03:26when it touches down.
03:27A puff of dust.
03:28That's normal.
03:29A puff of dust, last milliseconds.
03:31Air cushion that will kick up the dust.
03:34kick up the dust.
03:35It's a very soft, soft landing.
03:40Status check.
03:42Double shot.
03:46Kristen, just some incredible images there.
03:49The capsule.
03:50Copy.
03:51Welcome back.
03:52Hi there.
03:53Nice.
03:54Let's wait for just a moment here.
03:56Make sure they're doing health checks in.
03:58Professional astronauts into space.
04:02What he said was so moving that day.
04:04100% agree.
04:05100% agree.
04:06But it's not just the astronauts that are here
04:07that are being moved by this event.
04:09We've got Tabitha that's with some of the friends
04:11and family out there.
04:13We're waiting for it.
04:15That's the all next all-lady launch.
04:17Wolf emotional in her pre-flight interview.
04:19Is she still, is that still the weighing emotion?
04:24Or is she still just, oh my God, I saw the stars.
04:27I saw the curvature of the earth.
04:29You know, what's going to come out of her mouth, but really her heart?
04:36And is that, is that Jeff Bezos out there right by the capsule?
04:40Kind of hard to see.
04:41That is, that is correct.
04:43That is Jeff Bezos, our founder on the left,
04:46as well as Sarah Knights, our crew member seven.
04:53And I just want to thank our viewers for joining us.
04:57NS-31, New Shepard's 31st mission to space,
05:00our 11th human space flight from all,
05:03from all, from all parts of this flight.
05:06For the booster, for the capsule, for our astronauts,
05:09a completely successful flight, one of the smoothest flights.
05:24Where are my babies?
05:26Over here, go see them.
05:27Where, I have to go there, okay.
05:29Woo!
05:30Woo!
05:31Woo!
05:32Woo!
05:33Woo!
05:34Woo!
05:35Katie!
05:36Woo!
05:37Woo!
05:38Mwah!
05:40I just have to have a moment with the ground.
05:43Let me just, let me just appreciate the ground for just a second.
05:55Amazing.
05:56Amazing.
05:57I'm proud of you.
05:58Thank you.
05:59Thank you.
06:00We did it.
06:01We did it.
06:02We did it.
06:03We did it.
06:04We did it.
06:05We did it.
06:06We did it.
06:07Woo!
06:08Come on.
06:09I can't get it.
06:10I can't get it.
06:12Thank you so much.
06:14How do you feel?
06:16I feel super connected to love.
06:19So connected to love.
06:20I think this experience has shown me you never know how much love is inside of you, like how much love you have to give and how loved you are until the day you launch.
06:34We had these incredible shots of Daisy watching you.
06:37It will make me cry.
06:39The rocket's going up and she was so proud.
06:41Just kept saying, mommy, mommy.
06:44And I know you'll feel the same way when you watch it.
06:47And you brought a real life Daisy up.
06:50That's right.
06:51It was important for you, not only because it's your daughter's name, but why else was that important to Bernadette?
06:55Daisies are common flowers, but they grow through any condition.
07:00They grow through cement.
07:02They grow through cracks.
07:03They grow through walls.
07:04They are resilient.
07:06They are powerful.
07:07They are strong.
07:08They are everywhere.
07:09Flowers are, to me, God's smile, but it's also a reminder of our beautiful earth and the flowers here.
07:16and God's smile and the beautiful magic that is everywhere, all around us, and even in a simple daisy.
07:25So to really appreciate it and remember it and take care of it and protect it.
07:29Gail shared with us the song that you sang when you got up there.
07:34What a wonderful world.
07:35Why was that important to sing that particular song?
07:39I've covered that song in the past and obviously like my higher self is always steering the ship because I had no clue that one day I would decide to sing a little bit of that in space.
07:51But I think that it's not about me.
07:54It's not about singing my songs.
07:56It's about a collective energy in there.
08:00It's about us.
08:01It's about making space for future women and taking up space and belonging.
08:06And it's about this wonderful world that we see right out there and appreciating it.
08:12This is all for the benefit of Earth.
08:15You have done so many incredible things in your life, selling millions of records, selling out stadiums.
08:21Where does this experience break for you?
08:24This experience is second to being a mom.
08:30Wow.
08:31Yeah.
08:32That's it.
08:33And that's why it was hard for me to go because that's all my love right there.
08:38And I have to surrender and trust that the universe is going to take care of me and protect me and also my family and my daughter.
08:47Because, like, I am full up from being able to get that gift of being a mom.
08:52And to go to space is incredible.
08:55And I wanted to model courage and worthiness and fearlessness.
09:03You did.
09:04You said you wanted to go to space for the fearless women in your life as well, your sister and your mom.
09:08What was their reaction when you got to see them after you got off the capsule?
09:11I have only seen my mom.
09:13And I was like, are you okay, Mom?
09:14She just knew.
09:15She knew.
09:16She was totally okay.
09:18And I'm sure she was speaking in tongues underneath her breath as she does all the time.
09:22She would do that for anything else, but definitely today.
09:25But she was so super confident.
09:28My mom, she has this thing where she can see.
09:31I mean, even down to the name of, like, the capsule.
09:35Being tortoise, I know you spoke to all of your fans about that, that the capsule's named tortoise, the feather on the side, you know, the symbol of blue origin.
09:44All of those gave you confidence that this was the right thing for you to do, correct?
09:48Yeah, because I just asked for a sign from the heavens, from my angels.
09:51And they're like, well, here's the feather, which is what your mother calls you.
09:54And if that's not enough, the capsule's named tortoise, which is the second nickname that your mother calls you.
09:58And I'm like, okay, I'm going, I'm going.
10:00I got the message, and I'm going to get the message.
10:03Before I let you get back to your family, I just have to ask you, describe for us, because you're so brilliant at putting, you know, words together and describing moments that we can all appreciate later.
10:13How would you describe the moment when you took off and then the moment you landed?
10:19The moment, I mean, it is the highest high, and it is surrender to the unknown, trust, and this whole journey is not just about going to space.
10:35It's the training.
10:37It's the team.
10:39It's the whole thing.
10:40I couldn't recommend this experience more.
10:42This is, like, up there with all the, you know, different tools that I've learned in my life from meditation to the Hoffman process.
10:51This is up there because what you're doing is you're, like, really finding the love for yourself because you've got to trust in yourself on this journey.
10:59And then you're feeling the love when you come down, for sure.
11:02And you're feeling that strength.
11:04So I feel really connected to that strong, divine feminine right now.
