La empresa aeroespacial Blue Origin, propiedad del magnate Jeff Bezos, realizó este lunes un histórico vuelo suborbital con una tripulación completamente femenina integrada por celebridades y figuras destacadas del mundo científico y mediático. Entre las pasajeras estuvieron Katy Perry, Gayle King y Lauren Sánchez, prometida de Bezos.
El vuelo, a bordo del cohete New Shepard, despegó desde el oeste de Texas y alcanzó una altitud de 105 kilómetros, cruzando brevemente la línea de Kármán —el límite oficial del espacio— para ofrecer a sus ocupantes unos minutos de ingravidez durante un viaje de aproximadamente 10 minutos.
