00:00This is the Siddheshwar temple at Bundelkandz Chhasi in Uttar Pradesh, where devotees had
00:04installed air conditioners inside the sanctum of Chaturmukhi Gayatri Mata and Pitamra Mata
00:10to protect the deities from scorching heat. Temperatures in Chhasi rose to 40 to 42 degrees
00:15Celsius in April 2025. The devotees believe that once a deity is consecrated in Hinduism,
00:20the idol comes to life. And so, they took care of the idols.
00:30Meanwhile, even in Maharashtra's Akola district in Vidharba, the Shri Sandh Gajanan Maharaj temple
00:42was also equipped with fans, coolers and ventilation systems to ensure the deities remained comfortable.
00:47According to the Chief of the Indian Meteorological Department, from April to June, many parts of
00:52North, East and the Central India, including the Northwestern Plains, were expected to face
00:57two to four more heatwave days than normal in 2025.
