Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim will travel to Thailand this week to meet his counterpart Paetongtarn Shinawatra, with discussions to include joint efforts to clean and deepen Sungai Golok.

Speaking at the Finance Ministry’s monthly assembly on Monday (April 14), Anwar, who is also Finance Minister, said the meeting will focus on flood mitigation and dredging works along the river, which runs through densely populated areas on both sides of the border.
