00:00We challenged the boys to go up a gear individually as a group and I think we
00:17certainly saw that. We challenged them around their training standards and how
00:21they prepare for international matches and we put a team to the saw today.
00:28Lots of good individual performances, but as a team we saw we had been training hard on
00:34the bottom of the field. The first thing is about opportunity. We got to see 28, 29 different
00:42players over these two weeks. Some guys that got a little bit of involvement around 20,
00:48some guys that are brand new into the pathway. So for us to build a bit more depth looking
00:53ahead to next year is invaluable for us. It gave us a platform to play off and off the
01:00back of that, the backs exploited that space. So again, a line in that cohesiveness that
01:05we built in week two that maybe was a little bit off against Ireland last week.
01:10I suppose it's an opportunity for some guys to put their hands up to the World Cup just
01:12in the corner.
01:13Yeah, that was the challenge from the off. You've got guys in different parts of their journey.
01:17Some, like you say, are trying to get on the plane to Italy in the summer. Some are here
01:23for the first time and putting their hand up for next year. So I think there were some really
01:27good performances, especially in the second row. Luke and Tom Cottle were brilliant in the
01:31second row for both weeks and have really put their hand up going forward. I think as well
01:38that the midfield were impressive. You know, Austin, Darwin Lewis and Lou Edwards in the
01:43midfield were solid and really communicated where the space was. So I was really impressed
01:48with them and those guys will challenge the boys in the twenties going forward.
