'The impact of Vitor Pereira is beyond any of our wildest dreams!' Wolves fans on Spurs win
Transcript
00:004-2. What a turnaround. Fort Winton Road for the first time in the Premier League era. Feels pretty good.
00:05Brilliant, mate. Brilliant. I mean, they're a full side, Tottenham, but you've got a big pot in front of you at the end of the day.
00:12Yeah, I mean, this is a side full of confidence and you could see that, couldn't you?
00:15And Ryan Attenborough has maybe bubbled under a little bit this season, had a really good display today.
00:19Yeah, I think, to be honest, all over the pitch, though. There's Joao Gomez, that's one of his best games in all of the show.
00:25I think he's absolutely superb. Andre as well. Aguadou. Everything came together. It just worked really, really well.
00:30And Larson, just superb.
00:32Yeah, you only saw Larson five goals in the last four games. Just looks like a different player, doesn't he?
00:36Oh, 100%. 100%. You know, you look at the time when he was struggling. We just said he's quite a happy footballer.
00:43But when he was struggling before, I was a bit unsure about him. Was he worth paying the ÂŁ25 million at the end of the season?
00:50You think now, you snap that off and, you know, it's a deal done on that. You know, you're absolutely superb.
00:56Absolutely amazing. I mean, it was such a strange game, though, so end-to-end with it.
01:00But it was just the confidence that's flowing through the team now.
01:02And you just think the crowd, everybody is pulling together as well. And we just look so much better in defence.
01:08But Stran Larsson, holding the ball up like a proper number nine as well, really getting around the pitch.
01:12I'm just so proud of him.
01:14Yeah, look, really, 87 seconds it was in Ryan Henry who opened the scoring.
01:17He's been a little bit under par this season, but that was a really good performance for him today, wasn't it?
01:22Yeah, I think so. I mean, I would... I think they just all felt like they were up for it.
01:27But they've been up for it for weeks, haven't they? That's the thing.
01:29The spirit in the team. It's got to be Vitor Asnett between them.
01:32You can hear who's celebrating in the back in front of the South Bank.
01:36And one person who came off the bench and he was always destined to score on it.
01:39And there's the return of Matthias Cunyar.
01:41Yeah, I mean, it's been a good one with Cunyar this season.
01:43I think he's going to go in the summer. I think we'll make good money.
01:46He's made mistakes. He's said the wrong bits and pieces and all that.
01:49But you've still got to back the wall to play when they score.
01:52And, you know, it's a nice finish. It's a nice finish.
01:55But I think he is on his way.
01:57But he's been superb in a wall show on the pitch, off the pitch, not so much.
02:00But you can watch them on the side of the pitch as well.
02:02They're all standing there, supporting for each other.
02:04You know, when Cunyar came on, for example,
02:06you know, everybody's there standing and cheering him,
02:08arms around and Larson putting his, you know, fingers pointing towards him,
02:11going, he's the man, he's the man. How about that?
02:13Your two strikers. It's just wonderful to see.
02:16Yeah, and look, obviously Spurs came into the game a couple of times,
02:18but it was a dominant display, wasn't it, overall?
02:20Yeah, very much so. I mean, I think, you know,
02:22they've got a bit of an eye on whatever European thing that they're in.
02:26And, you know, so I think we hit them at the right time.
02:30But we were just better than them all over the pitch.
02:33I mean, it wouldn't be Wolves if we weren't sort of going,
02:34oh, my God, when the second goal went in.
02:36But you need a bit of excitement, don't you?
02:38Fans singing Vita Perrault's name in the background.
02:40I mean, in terms of a job that he's done, incredible, yeah?
02:42Oh, it's amazing. We were talking on the way up today,
02:47you know, you kind of compare what it was like when we lost Wichelich at home.
02:51It was just, it was an absolute mess, absolute mess.
02:54You compare it to what it is now, it's a completely changed club,
02:57completely changed team.
02:58So, nah, he's done absolute wonders and, you know,
03:01I would hope that he's still in charge of the kind of going into next season.
03:04There's a few rumours here and there.
03:06But to me, he's an outstanding sport, he's done brilliant.
03:09Four wins in a row, first time in Premier League history,
03:11I think first time in the top flight since 1972.
03:13What kind of a job has Vita Perrault done?
03:15I mean, he's absolutely outstanding, really.
03:17You start thinking, no, we're going to keep hold of him.
03:19But he looks like he's absolutely loving it, doesn't he, though?
03:21He's feeding off that.
03:22There's a great new flag in the stand, you know,
03:25first the points, then the pints,
03:27and we were all starting to sing it as well now.
03:29And he must love that. I think he feeds off that energy.
03:31We've just got to make sure we support him,
03:33and the club supports him in what he wants to do.
03:35He obviously wants a certain type of player,
03:37so let's hope the club gets behind him around that.
03:39Give him a round, that.
