The King and Queen were seen leaving Crathie Kirk following a Sunday service marking their 20th wedding anniversary. Composer Paul Mealor spoke afterwards about his specially written piece, The Weather of My Being, which draws on their love of Scotland and sets texts from American poetry, the Bible, and Robert Burns. 01:30Then the central movement is called Setting of a Seal which comes from the Bible, the text, and then the last movement is Setting of Burns' of Red Red Rose, and all three of them look at different aspects of romantic love.
01:40About 15 years I've been doing regularly things which has been a great honour for me to do and indeed always very special.
01:47Every premiere is special but when the King and Queen are there it's incredibly special and an enormous honour.
01:53So it's been a joy.
