Woman becomes first in UK to give birth after womb transplant  A British woman became a mother after receiving a womb transplant from her sister.  This is the first case of birth through transplanted womb in the UK.  Grace Davidson, 36, was born with a rare condition that causes womb to be missing or underdeveloped. 00:19we felt our family was complete it was never in question that that if there was something we

00:45incredibly difficult to let her do that for me as well but I mean it's incredible it's a huge act

00:53of sisterly love yeah it was an absolute no-brainer we'll look at our daughter every day of her life

01:00and remember her auntie who played that crucial role in bringing her into the world and we wouldn't

01:05have a family without Amy I didn't feel like I was living a very full life I was I felt pretty

01:23broken and so my quality of life wasn't great there was a sadness that was over me and the sadness is

01:29gone and I think it's just the joy that I feel now that she's here

01:33yes this is not life-saving but it's life enhancing life changing and

01:58certainly creating life which I think you can't you can't have better than that this is not for

02:05everybody but this is hope for a goodly proportion
