00:00We're living in a moment with a president who has no understanding or respect for the

00:08Constitution of the United States.

00:14And let us make no doubt about it, moving us rapidly toward an authoritarian form of

00:22society.

00:27And Mr. Trump, we ain't going there.

00:30And that is precisely why we are here today.

00:36To make sure that government of, by and for the people does not perish, and that we do

00:43not become a government of the billionaire class, by the billionaire class, and for the

00:50billionaire class.

00:52Musk and his friends see you as nothing more than workers to be disposed of.

00:56They got rid of tens of thousands of federal workers.

01:00And when information, artificial information and robotics comes, they're going to throw

01:05you out on the street as well.

01:06They don't give a damn about you.

01:10They don't give a damn about your kids.

01:15And what we have got to do is say, sorry.

01:19We are human beings.

01:21Donald Trump is not an aberration.

01:25He is the logical, inevitable conclusion of an American political system dominated by corporate

01:32and dark money.

01:33And if we are here to defeat him, we must defeat the system that created him.

01:44But this isn't just about the Republican attacks on working people, LA.

01:51We need a Democratic Party that fights harder for us, too.

01:55And that means our communities, all of us coming together, choosing and voting for Democrats and

02:08elected officials who know how to stand for the working class.

02:15Anda gets battered in a former country to concrete trenches.

02:17Another community that happens is the most important.

02:18We are trying to educate ourselves about what our kids are doing for the job.

02:19We're trying to protect ourselves.

02:20Mine's better not to vote for us as they are.
