00:00:26Memories that had been long forgotten were starting to surface up once more. However,

00:00:35There were those with worry on their faces, while others chose to keep their composure,

00:00:39perhaps some with a slight smile, whether this is a sign of the Punishers having returned,

00:00:43or one of them coming back to exact their power and revenge is yet to be seen.

00:01:13guess was they were just unlucky at the moment. The meeting had ended, but not before giving

00:01:17instructions to each of the 13 families to be on the lookout for the Punisher and to do everything

00:01:22they could in their power to bring them in point one of the leaders had left the room,

00:02:21as he arrived. His senses were higher than they were previously, and with that the connection of

00:02:25those that were in his family were stronger. Layla, it looks like it's still okay, and not too far from

00:02:29here. Quinn said, but that wasn't what had surprised him. For when he closed his eyes and started to focus

00:02:59Inside, Logan's room back at the Vampire Academy. Currently inside was Borden, and they had even

00:03:04invited CIA this time as well. Although the girls' and boys' room were often separated, there were no

00:03:09strict rules when people would visit or come into each other's room. Unlike back at the military

00:03:13academy, A.T. seemed like they were quite open about this, and many times while staying there,

00:03:18Logan had noticed many females and male vampires going into each other's room. Coming out, their

00:03:23clothes would be ruffled and such, and their faces blushed with heat. It was obvious what was going

00:03:27on. Must just be a cultural difference, I guess. Thought Logan. Still, the reason they had gathered and

00:03:33asked for CIA to come along as well, was because they wanted to execute the next part of their plan.

00:03:37Moving together was important. Even if they couldn't connect with Layla, she was still by

00:03:42far the safest out of all of them. Honestly, although CIA had come into the room, she didn't

00:03:47want to cooperate with the others until she had learned the truth. But what other choice did she

00:03:50have? The only thing she was sure about right now was that she was human in a vampire world,

00:03:55and the others in front of her were human as well. In a way, she was stuck, because without Logan's

00:04:00spray, she would be unable to disguise herself as a vampire. Yeah, she had her bottle, but how long?

00:04:05All that last, and what would she do when it ran out? T.I. was simple if she was on her own. She

00:04:10would be dead, and right now she was safer with them. Dad, I think maybe we can tell Silver the

00:04:13teacher why we are here. Logan proposed as he sat down on his bed while the other two were standing.

00:04:18You mean, our teacher. Why would you do that? Won't that mean we've been found out? CIA complained

00:04:23immediately, unaware of what the other two had learned. Looking at Vorden's reaction, Logan could tell he had

00:05:17if she doesn't and she reports us? Logan then quickly formed a robotic-type gauntlet with the spiders

00:05:22from his hand, then soon after he displayed a holographic screen from it in front of them all.

00:05:26When the others looked at it, all they could see were times and events. It looked like it was the

00:05:31school timetable. I think we have run out of time, and no longer have any choice, Logan replied.

00:05:36This is the school timetable for the next week, and can you see what one of the lessons is?

00:05:41Looking at the timetable, they looked at all of them carefully, until Vorden spotted the

00:05:45troublesome lesson that would soon be coming up. Sparring matches. Vorden said, although we are strong,

00:05:51and perhaps can put up a good fight against the vampires, I doubt we would be able to fight them

00:05:54without allowing any of our own blood to be split, said Logan. On top of this, Xander is most likely

00:06:00after your blood more than ever, and I hear he is quite the skillful student. We also don't have the

00:06:04option of just suddenly leaving. If we leave, then they will know and come after us, making them aware

00:06:10that something is up. The only time we can act, or the best time to act, would be when we have enough

00:06:15information and Quinn is here, or if that doesn't happen at the execution itself. So you're gambling on

00:06:20the fact that it's more likely that Silver will help us once she finds out our reason for being

00:06:24here, Vorden replied. Or, at least we'll get us out of the current sparing predicament.

00:06:29Getting up from the bed, Logan then proceeded to open up ASM. All latch, in his strange glove,

00:06:35around the area of his forearm. Inside it were the red blood pills that had been obtained from the

00:06:39trials, when they had first arrived. Take them, Logan said, giving them to Vorden. Without all my

00:06:45equipment, I have not been able to do a full check, but I'm 90% sure that they won't harm you in any

00:06:50way. Although I am unsure if it will have the effect that Quinn had said, but there may be a

00:06:54time when you need them. For me, it's useless, since I don't fight using my own strength and speed,

00:06:58and CIA is a support type who is naturally weak, so if they really do have an effect, it's best if

00:07:03you take them for now. Looking at the blood pills, Vorden put them away in his trouser pocket,

00:08:12thoughts and distractions of what to do. As the days went by, and the execution was drawing closer

00:08:17and closer, she had images flash in her head and plans of how she could save her brother.

00:08:21Why, father, are you really going to let Fex just die like that? Silver was a little upset that her

00:08:26father had seemed to ignore the fact altogether and was treating Fex, his own son, just as if any other

00:08:31vampire had committed such a crime. He didn't even try to defend him or pardon him, but in a way,

00:08:36this was expected for her. She knew he was like this, and this was where she got her own stubborn

00:08:41side from. When it came between choosing family and the laws one would choose family, right?

00:08:46Slowly, Silver was realizing that she herself cared about her brother more than any of the stupid

00:08:51vampire laws. The only problem was, she wasn't going to go on a suicide mission. As it was right

00:08:56now, even if she got involved, she wouldn't be able to escape, and her own life and her brothers

00:09:01would be taken. Perhaps then all of the 13th family would be treated as traitors, and because of her

00:09:06actions, what was happening to those that were in the 13th would worsen. She couldn't do that.

00:09:10As a teacher at the school, she could already see how the other 13th members were being treated now,

00:09:15so she couldn't imagine what would happen if they found out she too had gone against the council.

00:09:19Thinking about all of this was a lot on her mind, but that's when she noticed a strange small

00:09:23little piece of paper that had magically appeared on her desk. Not only that, but it was moving.

00:09:28Eventually, the piece of paper had stopped moving, and then a small little spider from underneath

00:09:32the paper had left, and gone away back climbing down the desk and heading off somewhere.

00:09:36Looking at the piece of paper, Silver noticed that it was a note.

00:09:39We wish to help out Fex. Please meet us in the storage room, based outside on the field.

00:09:43Looking at the note, for some reason, a slight jolt was felt in her heart.

00:09:47Who said this? Is it one of the other vampire families? Maybe the one that was hiding the

00:09:51identity of the vampire that created the illegal. Maybe they are finally making a move. Should I meet them?

00:09:56If they can help save Fex then I have to meet them. With her hopes on the mysterious note

00:10:00that just appeared in front of her, Silver decided to head to the location. She stood outside of the

00:10:05storage door, located off to the side on the outside field. Suddenly, she felt a little strange.

00:10:11Her senses were telling her there were three vampires inside. Not any special vampires,

00:10:15but just regular vampires. However, they might have been only messengers. Opening the doors,

00:10:21she went straight in and quickly closed them behind her. When she turned her head,

00:10:24she could see three students inside the room. All of the ones she recognized that were in her class.

00:10:29Her sudden hopes were dashed as she remembered each of them was from the 10th family.

00:10:33Logan was the first to walk forward and approach Silver.

00:10:36We are here to save Fex, said Logan.

00:10:38Chapter 434. The 8th Family Message

00:10:41Looking at the three students in front of her didn't give her hope.

00:10:44Silver remembered them quite well, especially the tall blonde student.

00:10:48This was because he had stuck up for one of her family members at one point,

00:10:51and she had made it her duty to try to protect him.

00:11:22It turning, but this was a far-fetched idea as it had nothing to do with Fex.

00:11:26Even in the past, the 10th family was never close to the 13th,

00:11:29so why would the leader even attempt to save him?

00:11:35Logan started to count down from 5, and then, at that precise moment,

00:11:38something had happened. A strange smell had entered Silver's nose.

00:11:42It had hit her in an instant, quickly pulling out the spray bottle.

00:11:50recognizing the strange smell. A natural reaction happened as Silver's eyes went beaming red as

00:12:02and CIA stepped back slightly as she stared back at the red eyes.

00:12:06The two of them were ready for a fight. Whether or not they could win was an entirely

00:12:09different thing altogether, though. How? How were humans able to infiltrate this place?

00:12:13And they were even able to get rid of the scent? Have we been discovered?

00:12:17Hardening her hand and her fingertips,

00:12:18Silver was prepared to throw out an attack and slice Logan's head then and there.

00:12:23It would have been easy, and the attack would have been too fast for him to react.

00:16:47An Extra Dead

00:16:48Underneath the 13th castle,

00:16:50there were strange tunnels that seemed difficult to navigate.

00:16:53Certain pathways would lead to others opening up to different areas.

00:16:56The only light source in these deep underground tunnels were the torches that lit up the way,

00:17:29and such until a punishment was decided.

00:17:35blocked by complicated door structures with secret codes.

00:17:38Using these doors,

00:17:39one would be able to travel underneath and move freely between each castle.

00:17:42The 9th family was in charge of the cellars and tunnels underneath,

00:17:45and had access to all the doors,

00:17:47allowing them to transport criminals from one place to another.

00:17:51they all had access codes and such to their own doors underneath their castles,

00:17:55but did not for others,

00:17:56point one would either have to get permission from another family,

00:17:58or request aid from the 9th family.
