00:00Tens of thousands of conservative Poles traveled from all over the country to participate in a rally in Warsaw.
00:06The rally was held to commemorate the millennium anniversary of the coronation of the country's first king.
00:12They danced the Polonaise in historic costumes, sang the national anthem,
00:17and chanted slogans in support of a conservative candidate running in next month's presidential election.
00:22The march was supported by the Law and Justice Party,
00:25whose candidate, Karol Navrotsky, is up against liberal candidate Warsaw Mayor Rafał Traskowski.
00:31Organizers say 100,000 people participated in the rally,
00:35while City Hall, run by Traskowski, places attendance at 20,000.
00:41The rally comes as the Law and Justice Party look to drum up support for Navrotsky,
00:45who's been trailing behind in the polls.
00:48Frontrunner Traskowski has led the polls so far, projected to win around 30% of the vote,
00:53while Navrotsky is at just over 20%.
00:56The presidential election is set to take place on the 18th of May.
01:00If no candidate surpasses the required 50% threshold,
01:03a runoff is scheduled a fortnight later between the top two candidates.
