00:00No, I cannot tell you anything about the new Snow White movie.
00:04I've been sworn to secrecy.
00:06Hi, Who, What, Where? This is Rachel Segler.
00:17I think my perfect photoshoot pump-up jam would be Manicure by Lady Gaga.
00:23I think Art Pop is such a beautiful album and doesn't get enough love,
00:29doesn't get enough attention, and I think Manicure is my favorite song off of it.
00:34I love to drink as much water as I possibly can on a photoshoot
00:37because you're standing in the same position sometimes for way too long.
00:40You start to go a little bit crazy. Water will wake you right back up.
00:44I'm not a huge coffee drinker.
00:45If I was, I'd probably drink coffee, too, but I don't.
00:48I don't have a lot of snacks on photoshoots.
00:50I'm really scared. Look at me. I'm wearing a white suit.
00:52Like, I'm just too messy to possibly eat snacks while in very fancy clothing that I do not own.
00:59For pre-shoot ritual, I don't have many, but I feel like the low hum of conversation
01:05is very important to me to just keep my brain awake and to wake everybody up in the morning.
01:11Just bring some good conversation, catch up with my team, my glam team, my styling team.
01:16It's very nice.
01:17Post-shoot ritual would probably be taking a nap in the car ride home
01:23and then going home and falling asleep on the couch.
01:26My signature scent nowadays is probably Miss Dior.
01:32I love the way Miss Dior smells.
01:35It's very floral and beautiful and very light.
01:38It's not too overwhelming and it's not an old lady scent,
01:41which I'm always really cognizant of when picking fragrances out.
01:46I'm most looking forward to being back with my glam team.
01:50It's been like a year since we all were together and everything's kind of amping back up with
01:56Shazam 2 coming out.
01:57So we're kind of just easing back into spending every waking moment with each other.
02:02And I'm glad that we get to start doing that here.
02:04I'm probably most excited to wear this meow number that I've never worn them before.
02:12So I'm really excited to wear them in today's shoot.
02:17I feel like I really vibe with the, I feel like I'm ancient when it comes to keeping up with trends.
02:24I have no idea what is trendy ever.
02:27I'm so bad at it.
02:29But I feel like the clean girl aesthetic, whatever that means, is a thing.
02:34And then there was also like these, these, this lip trend that I think Hailey Beaver was talking
02:39about that like Latinas have been doing for so long with the liner and gloss.
02:44I'm always in with that trend and anything that allows me to wear like a gloss and just some
02:50mascara and makes me feel confident to leave the house.
02:52I don't know if I've been influenced by a lot of trends, but I'm, I'm a, I'm a big fan of
03:01everybody who, who likes to express themselves in any art form. And I feel like makeup is such an
03:06incredible art form where people get to express themselves. I've been doing my makeup since I was
03:11way too young to be doing my makeup. And my mom let me, you know, rifle through her makeup bag and
03:16and play. So I'm, I'm always just supportive rather than influenced by makeup artists and kids who are
03:25out there just expressing themselves via their makeup or their hair or their fashion.
03:32I feel like my most memorable day on Shazam 2 Fury of the Gods was probably
03:39my last day of shooting, which I can't necessarily spoil for you now because it was a very pivotal day
03:45of shooting. But we all got to be together in the same frame for her, you know, on a superhero shoot.
03:52It's not always common for you to actually be able to look your fellow scene partners in the eye.
03:56Sometimes they're just tennis balls or pink X's of tape on a blue screen. So it was really nice for
04:02all of us to be together. And it was very emotional because it was the day a lot of us wrapped.
04:07So I'm excited. No, I cannot tell you anything about the new Snow White movie. But if I could,
04:15I would tell you everything about the new Snow White movie because I'm very excited about it.
04:19But I did get a text message yesterday that the first rough cut is finished, which is so exciting,
04:26which means we're just in the process of, you know, test screening and seeing what needs to be reshot
04:31or ADR'd or redone. And that was such a wild experience from start to finish. I can't wait
04:38to share it with people. And it's going to be in theaters in March of 2024.
04:44I think of all the characters I've played, Lucy Gray Baird in The Hunger Games, The Ballad of
04:51Songbirds and Steaks has, let me say that three times fast, right? She has the most incredible beauty
04:56journey because she's got the looks in the hob. Fans of the book will understand what I'm talking
05:02about. But, you know, she's got looks when she's performing. She's got looks, you know,
05:06and then in the game, she's very, you know, dirty and sweaty and all these things. And then there's
05:11a scene in a lake where I get to be completely natural. So I think that was probably my favorite
05:17beauty journey because I got to do so many different looks on that set. And her beauty and her
05:24vanity is very important to her. And the makeup artist and the makeup designer, Sherri Lawrence,
05:29and I really came up with a story for each thing that she would put on her face. So like, you know,
05:34her lipstick was made out of Beetlejuice and all of these different things because you have to justify
05:40all of these makeup trends that she's doing in the confines of a kind of, you know, post-apocalyptic
05:46setting, a very dystopian setting. Bye, Who, What, Where? Thank you for hanging out with me on set.
05:54Bye.
