More than 4,000 people, including volunteers and personnel from various agencies, have been mobilised for a massive cleanup operation in areas affected by the recent gas pipeline fire in Putra Heights.

Addressing claims that Putra Harmoni received more attention than Kampung Melayu, Selangor Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari clarified on Saturday (April 12) that cleanup efforts in Kampung Kuala Sungai Baru could only begin after police granted clearance a few days ago.
