00:52With a collection of mind blowing matches including one really minted battle.

01:05Since the Mania match was just announced in the last 24 hours.
01:09Eye patch at all.
01:11And it's a showdown with his bitter rival Damien Priest.
01:14Priest here to be face to face with McIntyre after weeks of destructive attacks.

01:21And Berto from Legado del Fantasma a week removed from his dismissive reaction to the debut of Ray Phoenix.

02:27Superstars get one last chance to put together their prep before the biggest shows of the year.

02:34Hey, let's waste no time and get right to where we left off the circumstances surrounding Kevin Owens and Randy Orton.
02:41Last week's shocking announcements and then reactions by Randy.
02:47For the last four months or so I've been dealing with a pretty serious neck injury.
02:52We didn't know what it was.
02:53We didn't really know how serious it was.
02:55Thankfully this week we managed to figure it out and now I have to go get neck surgery.
03:00I don't know when I'll have the privilege to be in front of you guys again.
03:11From that hammer blow, enter the Viper.
03:14KO's supposed WrestleMania 41 opponent who graciously allowed KO to lead on stage.
03:22Randy, that means that you no longer have a match for WrestleMania.
03:33Maximum frustration, it needed an outlet and sadly for GM Aldis, it came in the form of an RKO.

03:40And with that, here's SmackDown trail manager Nick Aldis.
03:44Well, ladies and gentlemen, last week on SmackDown we witnessed a number of important moments,
03:58a number of memorable moments, a number of viral moments.
04:02Well, folks, I'm here to address one moment in particular.
04:09I wonder if you can guess which one that is.
04:11Now, I've been instructed to maintain my professionalism.
04:23And I'm a man of my words, so I'm gonna do just that.
04:29But with that being said, I'd like to take this opportunity to invite Randy Orton
04:35to come on down to this ring right now.
04:39And the voices in my head, they come to me, they understand, they talk to me.
04:56You got chills in your kitchen, all designed to keep you safe.
05:02You know, since Elimination Chamber, Randy's returned from injury.
05:08We have seen a version of Randy Orton that is pure Viper.
05:12The guy who hears those voices in his head with far more clarity and far more dangerous effect.
05:19We all know the fable of the Scorpion and the Froth.
05:25We can switch those out for the Viper and the GM,
05:28because the whole of planet Earth knew what was coming with a seeding Viper last week,
05:34apparently with the exception of GM Nick Aldis,
05:38who stood there slack-jawed and ate that inevitable RKO.
05:43And as irate as Randy Orton must be missing out on WrestleMania 41,
06:01thanks to that highly unfortunate injury to Kevin Owens.
06:06I doubt 1KO has sued the Apex Predator whatsoever.
06:12Nick Aldis needs to be very careful with his stance in that ring.

16:35They're going to be facing Solo Sokoa and Tomatanga.
16:39That's happening tonight right here in Seattle.
16:42And there they are, the week of Elimination Chamber.
16:49Liv Morgan, Raquel Rodriguez, they won the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship.
16:54Now they have come ringside to take their seats and watch the action,
16:57see who will be their opponents at WrestleMania in a championship match.
17:02Lyra Valkyria and Bayley.
17:22And it was only four days ago, they were battling each other for the Intercontinental Championship.
17:30And now here they are as teammates in this gauntlet match,
17:35hoping to make their way through five straight matches to try to survive,
17:41decide it in advance to WrestleMania.
17:47The following contest is the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship number one contenders,
17:56gauntlet match.
17:57Introducing first, the team of Bayley, and
18:02the WWE Women's Intercontinental Champion, Lyra Valkyria.
18:09Yeah, as you mentioned, Joe, these two were head to head this past Monday in a matchup won by Lyra Valkyria.
18:16Bayley was clearly very frustrated post-match, initially refusing to shake hands with the victor,
18:24the victor, Valkyria before having second thoughts and cooling down, but the essential part is this.
18:29These two have never tagged together before, and as Liv Morgan was just screaming at me,
18:35they are not a real team.
18:37And good luck with Liv just off your right ear throughout the night.
18:41And a chance at WrestleMania in a title match would mean a lot for Shayna and Zoe.
18:46These two haven't defeated for the WWE Women's Tag Team titles since last August.

19:35Now the key part of that is the luck of the draw.
19:38You've got to help, kind of similar to a Royal Rumble, you get a late draw.
19:42Now these two teams absolutely have drawn the short straw here and they're gonna have to run the entire table of competitors to try and make it through to WrestleMania
19:54and a championship opportunity at the tag champs.
19:57Now we will open up this number one contender's tag team gauntlet with Shayna Baszler and Bayley
20:04and Shayna immediately going to work on that left arm of Bayley as she looked to stomp down and Bayley's smart to get out of the way.
20:12Wade, you've been in this situation in your career of being early on in a gauntlet.
20:16Yeah, that's right.
20:17And the worst aspect of these is success just leads to exhaustion.
20:22You beat one opponent, you beat two opponents, you beat three opponents, which happened in my own career.
20:27The fourth opponent to enter in my case was Kofi Kingston.
20:31He beat me in about 15 seconds because I didn't have the energy to lift my hands over my head and defend myself.
20:37And that in part really is the issue.
20:39You wanna, if you can, go on a streak and finish opponents as quickly as you can, conserve as much energy as you can.
20:47Cause remember, this is just one part of your journey hopefully to victory.
20:52So we start taking advantage against Bayley.
20:55You mentioned Bayley being in that Intercontinental Championship match against Lyra just days ago and her reaction afterwards when Lyra put out her hand, offered the handshake.
21:07Bayley slapped it away, started to leave the ring and then thought about it, re-entered and hugged her with congratulations.
21:13Yeah.
21:14Acknowledging Lyra as the champ and now here they are as tag partners.
21:18I'm trying my best not to read too much into that reaction from Bayley.
21:21Bayley is a born competitor, a born winner.
21:24And you lose a championship match, especially for a championship you've never held before like the Intercontinental Championship in Bayley's case.
21:31And you're always gonna take it badly.
21:33I actually like the reaction from Bayley.
21:35She should be upset about that.
21:37And now here's one of the rising stars, Lyra Valcaria from Ireland, the newly minted Intercontinental Champion.
21:49And Liv Morgan is informing us that Raquel is bigger than all four of these women combined.
21:55She clearly likes the thought of competing against one of these two teams at WrestleMania should they make it all the way through to victory.

22:04Intercepted by Zoe!
22:06And Zoe off the blind tag was straight into the cover.
22:10Boy, what a smart move.
22:11Apparently Valkyria unaware of that tag to Zoe Stark making her the legal competitor.
22:17And now Baszler's back in with perhaps the damage already done to the Intercontinental Champion.
22:23Now Baszler looks to take advantage against Lyra.
22:26Wow!
22:27The impact there.
22:28A horrible landing on the back of Lyra Valkyria's head.
22:31Was it ever.
22:32And now here comes Stark.
22:36Looking to advance in this gauntlet.
22:38And the save comes in from Bayley.
22:41Right at the last second wave.
22:42Talked on the entrance how Bayley and Valkyria are not a real team.
22:45Well, certainly Pure Fusion Collective definitely are.
22:48They've been teaming together for several months now.
22:51Training together.
22:53And that chemistry is really showing in the early goings.
22:56And now Baszler getting right back after it where she left off.
23:00But look at this incredible counter jackknife.
23:04Wow!
23:05What skill from Lyra.
23:07And Zoe Stark have been eliminated.
23:11And with that, Bayley and Lyra advance.
23:16Team number one is through.
23:21And now right away, Natalya and Maxine Dupree next up to see who becomes number one contenders.
23:32Match number two among our five straight matches in this gauntlet match to determine the number one contenders to fight at WrestleMania against Raquel and Liv for the WWE Women's Tag Team Championships.
23:50As Natalya in the ring right now with Lyra Valkyria who came up with the jackknife cover in match number one as Bayley and Lyra defeated Shayna and Zoe Stark.
24:00And right now this interesting team of Natalya and Maxine.
24:04And we were talking about the reaction by Nati, the hesitation at a moment when she found out she was getting this assignment that was partially quelled by Adam Pearce.
24:13She says, hey, it's WrestleMania season, Wade.
24:15Let's just dive into the defense.
24:16Yeah, and I get taken whatever opportunity you can, but Natalya tagging with Maxine.
24:21Oh, cross body by Maxine to advance.
24:25And the kick out by Bayley.
24:27Maxine has decked herself out in heart family colors.
24:30I know for a fact Natalya was not too impressed with that.
24:33You've kind of got to earn those colors in this game.
24:36It's not a fashion statement, but right now Maxine is doing the business in there and earning her stripes.
24:42Yeah, go on social media and check out Maddie's reaction to that as Maxine, as you can see, very eager, very enthusiastic to be with the veteran Natalya and worked up the matching outfits.
24:56And now she comes and ram it into that corner.
24:58And this is the best Maxine Dupree has ever looked in that ring, clearly trying to impress the vet Natalya.
25:05Now she is energized.
25:07Well, we're all impressed now, Jotess.
25:09She is on an offensive assault, and Otis would be proud, wouldn't he?

25:23Well, it was a sloppy cover there from Maxine, who did indeed get a little too over-excited and over-rotated her opponent, Bayley.

25:54There was a rush of blood to the head from the less experienced Maxine Dupree.

26:08Trying to steal a quick one there on the now pre-exhausted Bayley, who has already had to win two matches thus far.
26:15No respite whatsoever.
26:18Smart there from Caden Carter.
26:20Caden Carter trying to take advantage of something you talked about right from the get-go of how difficult it is.
26:25When the draw says you're out in that first match of a gauntlet.
26:28And Bayley looking to try to get some help from Lyra.
26:32And the smartest thing Carter and Chance can do here is prevent Bayley from getting that tag to Lyra Valkyria.
26:39It is Bayley who has been in the ring now for several minutes.
26:42Oh, the teamwork, but the knees get up!
26:47Great job by Bayley to get the knees up.
26:50Yeah, still life in the body of Bayley.
26:55Oh, the elbow comes dropping in!
26:59And that shoulder gets up by Caden Carter.
27:01Just their second match of 2025 for Caden Carter and Katana Chance.
27:06They're coming off a spirited loss against the Secret Curvis.
27:10That was a match that we called from London.
27:13Yeah, Carter and Chance, the former tag champs here, desperate to get back to the Golden.
27:18Who isn't desperate to get to WrestleMania if you haven't got your ticket booked already?
27:22Carter comes flying in with that big leg.
27:26And this has been a hundred miles an hour stuff from Carter and Chance.
27:31Probably the two greatest tag team move exponents in the game.
27:36Looking for the kickstand!
27:38Could this get them closer to a title shot?

27:42Well, that was a late kick out there from Valkyria.
27:45Bayley would not have made the save in time, so it's a good job Valkyria did indeed kick out.
27:51Carter goes twisting, corkscrewing to the outside.
27:56I love watching these two, it's like acrobats escaping the circus.

28:02What pace we have in the midst of this gauntlet match.
28:06Look at Lyra.

28:17Kayden Carter and Katana Chance have been eliminated.
28:22This is now an impressive run by Bayley and Lyra.
28:28But things may be about to get ugly for Bayley and Lyra.
28:33Up next, Meachin and B-Fab enter the fray in this gauntlet match.

28:44Look at this crowd here in Seattle for Friday Night SmackDown.

28:49We're in the midst of an absolute thriller as B-Fab and Meachin are looking to advance
28:54in this Women's Tag Team Championship number one contenders gauntlet match.
28:59Everybody has been so impressed by Bayley and Lyra who have won three straight to get to this point.
29:05But now, Wade, as you said, the erosion, the conditioning, everything starts to play a factor.
29:11Well, the tank is completely dry for Lyra Valkyria, especially who's gamely clinging on,
29:17but has looked like a shot mannequin for the past couple of minutes,
29:20taking maximum abuse from B-Fab and Meachin, but finally gets a shot in the other direction.
29:27And here's Hope!
29:28Bayley's got fresh legs!
29:30Bayley's energized!
29:32Let's not over-egg the pudding.
29:33Certainly not fresh legs, but fresher at least.
29:36Because Bayley has taken a lot of abuse herself in this match and immediately back on the offense is Meachin.

29:45DDT Meachin to advance number one contender, but that left shoulder gets up.
29:50And Meachin being an absolute menace in there.
29:53And the tag champs Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez loving everything they are seeing right now
29:58as these women tear each other to shreds in pursuit of an opportunity, a tag goal at WrestleMania.
30:05You know, it's just the second time that B-Fab and Meachin have been teammates in tag team action.
30:11But they're looking pretty good, being synchronized and working together.
30:15And coming in and making the save is Lyra Valkyria.
