Omarosa Explains Why She Was 'Missing' During Certain Key Moments on 'Got to Get Out'

00:00I was really excited about doing this show. I'm celebrating 20 years in reality TV.

00:05So I gave my agent a challenge. I wanted him to find something that was exciting,

00:11that people would be talking about, that really would challenge me. And I told him some of the

00:16shows that I loved in the past. Of course, we love Big Brother. We love the competitiveness

00:19of Apprentice. And my favorite one was Fear Fact. It was hosted by Joe Rogan back then.

00:26But the one thing that I loved about that show was the strategy, the physicality,

00:31all the twists and turns. And my agent called me and pitched the show and told me the concept.

00:38And I thought, that's it. That's the show I'm going to do to celebrate my 20th anniversary

00:43in reality TV. And here we are, God's to get out, for a million dollars. So here we are.

00:51So behind the scenes, my situation was really unique because in order for me to do this show,

00:56I was in law school when they pitched a show and I told them I couldn't do the show because

01:01law school, this is my last year. And so I said, I can do it. So they worked with me so that I was

01:08able to do my classes four hours a day. I would sneak away into this large, like walking closet

01:15and I would be doing class and I was able to join Zoom and do my homework. And so it was really

01:20difficult for me to balance the two. The game is going on, but I'm so close to the end of

01:26my legal education. I couldn't risk it. And if I hadn't passed that class, I would not

01:30be graduating law school next month. And so for me, I had different challenges than other

01:36people. And, um, the viewers may or may not see me missing in some of the action. And it's

01:42because I was literally in this walk-in closet online, trying to pass contract laws and fed

01:49jurisdiction while competing in a reality show. So talk about behind the scenes. That was one of

01:56the most difficult things I had to deal with. But in terms of our sleeping arrangements, my bed was

02:02next to Cynthia and Cynthia was next to Kim Zosiak. So our beds were pre-assigned. I don't know why they

02:08put, you know, the apprentice star with the housewives, but it could be a separate reality show in and of

02:15itself, right? Because we had so much fun and so much drama as you saw with Spencer coming into our

02:21bathroom in what we call the West wing of the house. So.
