00:54You hope that when you get involved with a project that it will go for, you know, in the case of a TV series, that it will go for many seasons.
01:05But you never, you never expect it. You never know how it's going to go.
01:09No, we've been really fortunate to be able to be sort of guaranteed to finish finally through season seven.
01:23So that's not something that everybody knows in advance either.
01:28But we're also not the average TV show.
01:32We're made completely outside of the studio system and we've done our own thing and we've got, you know, the support of fans worldwide that have helped put us into existence and contributed the means for us to be able to finish the series.
01:49So it's been such an unorthodox approach to telling this story as a television show.
01:57But we've been given so much grace and opportunity.
02:02Oh, yeah. Fantastic.
02:03This season is perhaps one of the most important because the Last Supper and its consequences, ah, Holy Week.
02:14Yeah.
02:14How have you experienced shooting those important moments in the life of Jesus and the Bible in general?
02:22For me, portraying the Last Supper and the Garden of Gethsemane and, you know, even the cleansing of the temple were big, big scenes for me.
02:34And with the last one, I mean, for thousands of other people that were there, it's been something that has been really important for me to feel that we could get right, that I could get right as a performer and that I could be spiritually equipped to manage.
02:55As a person of faith myself, Gethsemane and the Last Supper were the two big moments that I was most concerned about and concerned with really portraying properly and authentically.
03:15And, you know, I believe we did that when we filmed it.
03:20And so now I haven't seen the whole season yet.
03:23I've only seen the first two episodes, so I'm going to be, you know, watching it with everybody else in theaters for the first time as well.
03:32So I'm really excited to do so.
03:34Yeah, me too.
03:36In the theaters, yeah.
03:38In TV, yeah, okay, but in theaters?
03:40Theaters, it's, I mean, it's made to be seen in the theaters.
03:44It's such, the greatest story ever told has such huge scope.
03:48And to see it on the big screen, and in some places, in IMAX even, it's just going to be extraordinary.

03:58Fifth season of the Chosen will release during Holy Week.
04:01For you, how are your experiences in this moment, the Holy Week?
04:09Holy Week is the most important week for Christians, for Catholics, in our faith life, in the religious year.
04:18It's a solemn week, but ultimately it ends in life on Easter Sunday, resurrection.
04:27It's, there's the whole range of emotions that we experience as members of the faith that are a reflection of Jesus' circumstances.
04:40So, getting to, getting to portray those moments and then having them, you know, be released in theaters during Holy Week is just going to be, it's very meta and it's very, very exciting.
04:55And I'm really, I'm really curious as to how, you know, the people of Spain will react to it.
05:00And, yeah, I'm just looking forward to hearing the feedback and hoping that people really have a wonderful time in the theaters.
