The stunning Barbara's Bier Haus is the latest addition to Bristol's Harbourside.

The apres ski fun party bar will officially open today (April 11), next to the recently opened Circuit bar in the former home of Pryzm.

BristolWorld had the opportunity to visit Barbara's Bier Haus ahead of the official opening and we were blown away by the amount of small details it had.

The walls were packed with 'windows to the Alps', paintings featuring people and adorable animals like cows, all hand-drawn by international portrait and mural artist Charlie Such.

The venue was adorned with wooden booths surrounded by wooden frames intertwined with vines. Beautiful lanterns lined the corners of the frames.

The venue has bars on both floors as well as free selfie stations.

The top floor is also home to a 'ski lift' booth, a spacious karaoke room and a secret button at the ladies' toilets, which turns the room into a party with lights, a disco ball and music.

Barbara's Bier Haus will be opening Monday to Friday from 4pm to 3am, Saturday from noon to 3am and Sunday from 4pm to 2am, and offer Bristolians a wide range of activities, including live music, quizzes and brunches, as well as delightful beer towers and cocktail towers.
