00:00Thank you, Mr. Speaker. I am standing here appalled and terribly disappointed at the actions of the
00:08Republican majority, the brazen cruelty and flagrant deceit with which Republicans in Congress
00:14and the Trump-Busk administration are trying to shove down this fallacy on the throats of
00:21everyday American people. Nearly one in three Americans count on Medicaid, yet Republicans
00:27are pushing at least an $880 billion cut in Medicaid. For what purpose? This purpose.
00:35Because as I sit on Ways and Means, I know that they must add $7 trillion, trillion with a T,
00:42in giveaways to billionaire donors and big corporations while ripping health care and
00:48food away from veterans, seniors, and children. Americans are, yes, fed up with the chaos,
00:56but they are also fed up with the cruelty, the lack of humanity, and the willingness to help
01:02everyday Americans that are being exhibited by this. You are exposed.
