00:00Elkins should be up there, to be perfectly honest.
00:02I mean, the phrase sleeping giant is often used.
00:06I think, as an outsider looking in,
00:09I think the previous regime that were here did a commendable job
00:12in making sure that the club was on an even keel,
00:17and they've got to be applauded for that.
00:20But like every club, whoever's in charge,
00:24it's just their term of office, they're only the custodians,
00:26and they're trying to enhance the club and bring it on to the next level.
00:30And I can see that's what the chairman's trying to do here,
00:33and I'm hoping to be part of that.
00:36I can tell from social media posts there's a vibe about the place,
00:41and we need to make sure that we deliver it at the end of the day.
00:46But if it doesn't happen, then we start again.
00:51But we'll cross that bridge when we come to it.
00:54I think it'd be a lot easier if we just get the job done.
00:59Listen, I'm not coming here to make any great changes.
01:04Nobody's saying anything's broken.
01:07It's just a case of trying to look at what's in place at the moment.
01:12We don't have a lot of new ideas.
01:14They're all old ideas being regurgitated all the time.
01:18We can maybe learn from our peers at a higher level.
01:21There might be one or two things that bigger clubs do and say,
01:23well, we could maybe do something in a summer scale,
01:26a watered-down version or whatever.
01:28And the board are open to new ideas and giving things a try,
01:34as long as it's viable.
01:36Listen, Rome isn't built in a day, that's for sure.
01:40But we've got the platform,
01:41so we just want to build on it
01:43and take it to the next level.
