Transcript
00:00South Australia Police first met Sammy when we found out about his dream to become a police officer.
00:06As a result of that, we swore him in as Sergeant Sammy, and he got to ride in our police helicopter,
00:10on our police boat, as well as visiting our horses and our police dogs.
00:15We also knew he wanted to blow s***, so we made that happen with our bomb response section.
00:21It is with great sadness that I, on behalf of all South Australia Police, extend our condolences
00:26to his mum, Alison, his sisters, Erin and Abigail, and his dad, Sean,
00:30as well as all of his friends at Anglevale Primary School.
00:34I want to thank the police officers who made special memories for his family
00:38and how privileged we are that we got to meet Sergeant Sammy.
