वाराणसी ( यूपी ) – वाराणसी में लगातार गर्मी का प्रकोप बढ़ रहा है। इस दौरान गंगा नदी में बड़े-बड़े टीले नजर आ रहे हैं। गर्मी से लोग लगातार परेशान नजर आ रहे हैं। वाराणसी के निवासी अभिषेक ने बताया कि पिछले साल की अपेक्षा इस साल गर्मी ज्यादा है जिसके कारण लगातार लोगों को दिक्कतों का सामना करना पड़ रहा है। लोग गर्मी से बेहाल है। गर्मी की वजह से लोगों के कई काम रुके हुए हैं। वहीं गंगा में घटने पानी को लेकर बीएचयू से रिटायर्ड प्रोफेसर बी. डी. त्रिपाठी का कहना है कि गंगा में पानी लगातार कम हो रहा है। इस वजह से टीले दिखाई दे रहे हैं। टीला बनना खतरे की बात नहीं है लेकिन ये दिखाता है कि गंगा में पानी कम हो रहा है। ऐसी स्थिति में पानी में ऑक्सीजन कम होता जा रहा है जिससे जलीय जीवों के लिए खतरा बढ़ गया है।
