00:00I think the interview process was kind of interesting, you know, I knew, so Drew Marringer

00:07actually coached me at Rutgers when I was a player.

00:09And me and Rashad Samples have known each other for a couple of years.

00:12He was in LA while I was in New England in the NFL.

00:15So I had two connects on the staff already, did not really have a previous relationship

00:19with Coach Lanning, but I knew a lot of people who did know him.

00:22And he's just somebody who I've kind of watched from afar from his time at Georgia, from his

00:26time as the head coach here at Oregon.

00:28And again, it was a great ascending program, you know, just you see the trajectory, like

00:31they won the holiday bowl first year, went 10-3, then they went 12-2.

00:35And then last year won the Big Ten Championship, go 13-0.

00:37And I just saw the young talent within the wide receiver room and just the talent on the roster

00:42overall in general.

00:43So it made it very attractive.

00:44And luckily I got an interview.

00:46Once I kind of got the interview, I knew that nobody was going to beat me out.

00:49So I'm just thankful that Coach Lanning gave me the opportunity to bet on me.

00:52So I'm going to prove them right.
