00:00This company's pitch is capitalizing on a movement.
00:03Hi, my name is Matt Rink, co-founder and VP of sales of Everybody Eat.
00:07One thing that we know is true in every culture around the world
00:10is that sharing food with the people we love, where it creates a bond.
00:14However, when a special diet enters a family, that bond is broken.
00:18Everybody Eat makes clean, delicious, allergen-friendly food
00:21that is free from the top 14 food allergens of corn.
00:24We are ready to meet the needs of 65% of the U.S. families that have a special diet.
00:30Everybody Eat.
00:31There is a movement for the Better For You space.
00:34There was an exit for a company called Siete,
00:36and they were really one of the first companies to have success
00:39in the gluten-free, corn-free, dairy-free movement.
00:42They had a massive, massive exit to Pepsi.
00:45What he did do was talk about he started this out of a need,
00:47and I think a lot of companies that find success early on
00:50are simply based off the founders saying,
00:52why can't I go do this?
00:53The problem is there's a lot of companies that have done the same thing,
00:56especially in recent years, that have significant funding behind them.
01:00Due to the competitive nature of this vertical,
01:02I would not be interested in investing.
01:04Thank you so much for taking part in Elevator Pitch on the Street.
01:08In order to show our gratitude,
01:10Amazon Business would like to gift you $500 in a gift card.
01:13What?
01:14Yeah.
