00:00President Donald Trump has announced the U.S. will hold direct talks with Iran on its nuclear

00:06program starting on Saturday.

00:10Trump made the remarks during his Oval Office meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin

00:15Netanyahu, the first world leader to visit the U.S. President since he imposed tariffs

00:21on countries worldwide.

00:23We're having direct talks with Iran and they've started, it'll go on Saturday, we have a very

00:32big meeting and we'll see what can happen.

00:34During their meeting, Netanyahu also vowed to eliminate Israel's trade deficit with the

00:40U.S. after his country was hit with 17 percent tariffs last week.

00:45I mentioned tariffs, it's a subject of some interest today.
