01:12I think rather than names but I think it is the power play is a concern for us with the ball and the bat
01:18whereas the last few games as well where we were leaking too many runs with the
01:23ball in the power play as well as we're not getting the starts and losing wickets
01:28so that's especially in Wankhede that's something that I mean we got an early
01:35wicket today as well first over but then they counter-punched played some good
01:40shots and we just did not react well to that and these are the margins and then
01:46they've had a big sixth over which really hurt us in that power play so we
01:52didn't close the power play properly and with the bat as well I thought we had a
01:58good start but just couldn't continue we lost those two wickets and then we had
02:02to consolidate a little bit and lost a bit of momentum there we had few big
02:08overs in between even in the power play and all that but it just weren't in the
02:14game in that first 10 overs I'm trying to summarize everything so that and then
02:18there was some superb batting from Hardik and Dilak at the back and we've
02:22we've almost got there so the margins are small in this competition and we are
02:28not hitting our strides and that's something it is a concern and we need to
02:33playing good cricket but not good enough

05:07to sometimes give credit to the bowlers as well I wouldn't read into that too
05:11much but yeah I mean it's something that I'm sure that Rose will work hard on it

05:28game day situation how he plays I have a lot of faith in Tilak's ability that day
05:35he just couldn't get going and and I said there was a tactical call I made
05:39and I needed two hits from someone else and we tried that but today I back him

05:50is always going to be there and it's just sometimes you get bad days where
05:55you know you're not being able to hit that so we take all that in our stride

07:14no yeah I mean obviously NCA has a program that they have to go through do
07:20all the fitness tests and and make sure that he's in good name that applies to I
07:24think all Indian central contracted players so once he went through that he
07:30had five six good sessions as well everything was cleared the only thing
07:34he was lacking was game time he hadn't played actively so that was something
07:41that he came and worked with us yesterday at the nets execution wise and
07:46the experience the skill that you saw today was pretty good he bowled to some
07:52good players and probably had two or three maybe two bad balls in that spell
07:57so I'm pretty happy with that
08:04does the blood pressure get high in Mohun Bagan?
08:17well it does I mean you've seen the greyhounds sitting there and watching but with the
08:22talent that we have we know we are always in the game we know that we we
08:26just need to be patient and and everyone most of the guys are match winners it's
08:32just that we're not getting that tempo going consistently we had to settle down
08:38when we lost those early because and they also bowled well they bought the
08:42two spinners I thought you know didn't miss much they bowled well so and we
08:48build partnerships in that and then obviously once you hit that 10th 12th
08:52over mark we knew that you know we could give ourselves a chance and obviously
08:57when Hardik walked into bat that was the conversation I had with him I said try
09:02and see whether you can get three big overs in and that's what he delivered
09:06and then the momentum changed till I started going as well so we were close
09:12but but not good enough obviously the emotions are you know it was great for a
09:18while but we have to be realistic that we're not playing the best cricket that
09:23we could play
09:32yeah I mean home advantage is that you know we used to play in these conditions
09:44and it's not that difficult I mean it's fair conditions for pretty much everyone
09:50the wickets are pretty decent fast outfields and all that but difference is
09:55the skill that you need to able to execute skill as bowlers it's not the
10:00margins are small and batting lineup is set up for that and then when you go
10:04away from home obviously though you get those challenges with different
10:07opposition who set up differently but that's where now we need to obviously
10:12three home games we lost and now we lost oh sorry away games we lost and a home
10:16game so we'll be back again on the road and we need to get some away wins now
10:22and that'll be our focus because halfway through or maybe another two three games
10:29later we'll know exactly what the points are and how much we need to get
10:33to and like you said you need to for us now you need to get on a roll and and
10:37make sure that we have multiple wins under our belt to get that momentum
10:42this is an idea where your use of saliva is allowed, your observation as a team has it helped the bowlers more and have you also incorporated it into practice because it's a thing that had gone out of our sports since 2020?
10:57no absolutely I think and especially with less dew in most of the venues I think
11:03you know bowlers are being able to get a little bit of assistance at the back end
11:07which is I think good for the game and yes we are constantly using that and
11:14trying to take that advantage I'm not sure whether every venue you will have
11:19that advantage but whenever there is possibility especially when you're
11:23bowling first I think there's a good advantage I saw Booms was tailing in
11:27quite a bit today as well so yeah I mean I think it's a good thing it's been
11:32there for ages and it's it's good good good to have that back
11:45not really I mean results not going but at the same time you can agree that
11:55we're playing some good cricket as well I still back the the senior pros and and
12:00all the guys I put out there I think they have the skill it's just that we
12:05need to be a bit more ruthless like I said and and at times we're missing out
12:11on those one or two overs where we lose our discipline so that's with the bat as
12:16well as with the ball so that's something that we need to rectify losing
12:20is not a great thing I mean you start doubting yourself and sometimes a fresh
12:29face coming into this kind of situation might be even tougher for that as well
12:33without the experience I think the guys who have the experience knows to handle
12:39tough situations and and be mentally stronger going forward so that's
12:44something that we will bank on and and make sure that we really focus on getting
12:50the group together and and be positive and and play the next game
