SkyFOX gave us a look at the devastation left from the Palisades fire.
California fires are wreaking havoc on Los Angeles as crews battle several massive blazes, including the Kenneth Fire, Sunset Fire, Palisades Fire, Eaton Fire, Lidia Fire, Hurst Fire and Woodley Fire. Areas impacted include the Hollywood Hills, Pacific Palisades, West Hills, Altadena, Pasadena, Sylmar, Acton and parts of Ventura County.

00:00Friday morning. Would you continue our coverage of the wildfires that are burning across Southern, California?
00:06Stew up in Sky Fox. I have to remark on just the natural beauty of our landscape
00:14juxtaposed with the horror of what happened
00:20You know most definitely and this you know, we just see so much of it we kind of become numb
00:27To the devastation we made our way all the way up to the Malibu area now
00:34We've heard Gigi talking about
00:36You know Malibu has been affected a Malibu has been affected
00:39That's the first time we actually been able to get up here to the shoreline and actually see
00:44Some of those homes actually at the water that have been destroyed from the Palisades fire. We're making our way
00:51We're gonna keep moving along and that destruction just kind of continues as we're trailing behind
00:56Sky Fox right there and it just goes and goes and goes every now and then there'll be a home or two that are standing
01:04This is also one of those things where we just how does that happen?
01:08Can't well, I I really don't know you've got a home right there across the street on Pacific Coast Highway between two other homes
01:17Leveled gone, but the other homes seem to be fine go across the street two of them or three of them are good
01:23And then you have a row of just destruction after destruction and some of Sky Fox in the shot
01:28You know and it just goes and goes and goes
01:31You know the fire department they're out here
01:34There's plenty of hot spots as we wind just kind of looking around out here flying the coastline
01:39Every now and then you'll see some smoke up there on a hillside
01:43Firefighters are out there. There's there's still spot fires that continue up here as well
01:49But this is all the area that's been evacuated gonna end with one more shot again this one
01:54Also, I believe is technically still going to be in the Malibu area
02:00But again just neighborhood after neighborhood just leveled and then maybe one or two houses standing
02:07First shot that we've that we've gotten yet of the destruction there especially in Malibu
02:12Yeah, I'm sure that you know you've done this too
02:14So you drive up and down PCH and you look at all the homes that are right near the water
02:18And you just marvel at you know how beautiful they all are and to think now that most of them are gone is
02:24Is unreal yeah definitely and yeah, and you were talking about that and this is there you go
02:31You go across the street, and you just you know right there. Those are the ones that you're talking about those are the seaside
02:37Homes that are off of Malibu, and they're just all of them. Just are gone
02:42Just one after another
02:44Leveled and of course you know I'm also kind of wondering
02:48I mean I know this kind of goes down to another different rabbit hole
02:51But you know I've heard in the past that they weren't gonna allow construction there anymore and now that these homes are gone
02:56Are they are they never coming back?
02:59It's just more questions than answers right now, but but if you can see how they're total destruction destruction destruction
03:07And then there's a group of homes that are just fine
03:09It doesn't make sense
03:11Yeah, all the various communities. Yeah from you know here to Altadena when you look at some of these shots
03:18There's like one house or two houses, and then the rest are just all gone
