00:03The Nationals believe that this is one of the biggest issues that
00:06regional Australia is facing, is child care. And we're going to have
00:10to have something that gives confidence, not just for the
00:13people you get out, but right across the country,
00:16that they can fight this crisis because they can go back to work.
00:19There are jobs in regional Australia and you will not attract the people of
00:23regional Australia if you don't have all the jobs.
00:25And they need to be able to handle that structure. So we will be leaning
00:29heavily the child care, as well as health care.
00:32We've got to make sure that the facilities and the services out here are
00:36the same. And to the same standard you'd expect
00:39in the other CAFOR city. It shouldn't matter your postcode, but
00:42when you've got a community that's prepared.
00:45I'm someone that's out here trying to make millions, but some
00:48a group of mothers that are prepared to do this.
00:51I think it's a small investment in regional Australia. It's the right
00:55investment in regional Australia. And I thank them for it and I thank
00:58them for their resilience in making sure that during their darkest
01:02hours, the first precipitous that was stood up
01:07was the child care set up. The community came together and made sure
01:11that their children were looked after, so
01:14their families could get on with the job of recovery.
01:17And this is an investment that should have been made.
01:20I can't right those wrongs, but I can right the future
01:24for the people of Yugarra in knowing that that investment is there. I congratulate
01:28them because you're going to see a lot of
01:29money be spread around in this campaign. That's easy to do, but
01:34the hard thing to do is to find the organisations, the people
01:37that you can invest in, that are doing it for their community, doing it for their
01:41country.
