00:00Firefest you just say the name and you think bad stuff's gonna happen fool me once
00:06Because that's what happened in the first one. Yes, definitely a lot of people were fooled at fire fest
00:11But then they've been planning fire fest to supposed to go down at the end of May some of the people who are organizing it
00:17They say it's over. It's not over in Mexico. It's not happening on the scheduled day and
00:24location at least according to
00:27The text messages that we've seen from a
00:30Event organizer a main event organizer, right?
00:33So this was the exchange a friend says you guys making any progress
00:37The person involved in the in the planning of fire fest who said no
00:42Mexican government is a joke the person says I'm telling you that's a true story and then they said they blanked us
00:49We're gonna start exposing
00:51Stuff we have all the receipts as of now, we won't be hosting a festival in Playa del Carmen
00:58That's where I was supposed to be happening in Mexico. So the receipts that we're referring to is
01:03they're saying that the government gave the green light to have this festival and
01:10They just got word from the government. They said oh, we don't know anything about this and it's like yes, you do you approved it?
01:17That's what they're saying Billy McFarland and company have been saying that the government told us we're a-okay. Okay, we're gonna we're going ahead
01:24This is gonna happen
01:25but reporters kept contacting and I think probably some concert goers contacting the government in Playa del Carmen and they would say we
01:34Don't know anything about this know anything about that event. So
01:38Something clearly did not look right to the public
01:41But now we found out what they're saying behind the scenes and it is not right. The reality is here
01:46This was never gonna happen there. I mean
01:49We've had Billy on TMZ live twice now. It still hasn't happened
01:52It's I just think it's a lot of talk and when we called him for this story over the weekend
01:56He declined to comment. I mean he didn't deny the story
02:00So and you remember when we had him on that in February at that point?
02:05It was in a different location at Isla Mujeres, right?
02:08And then they moved it and then at some point it moved and he says as of last week
02:14He put up an Instagram post where he said that we have been in negotiation with the Mexican government since March 5th
02:22Well, why did you tell us on February 26th that you had a day and location?
02:27It just it all seems really and so now they're saying where we may try to do this in another location
02:34But it's supposed to happen in in a month and a little over a month and a half
02:38It's end of May but and then people have like bought play. I mean assuming they've sold tickets
02:43Yeah, they bought plane tickets to Mexico hotels in Mexico or whatever. That's what I want to know
02:47Who I mean because Billy every time we've spoke to him said that they are selling tickets, right?
02:52If there's anyone out there who actually purchased a ticket you want to know
