00:33The National Capital Region Police Officer, NCRPO, is convinced that robbery was the sole

00:38motive of the district's Special Operating Unit, or DSOU personnel, involved in the robbery

00:44of a Chinese national in Laspina City.

00:46According to NCRPO Deputy Director for Administration, Police Brigadier General Rogelio Peñones,

00:52the operation carried out by the officers was riddled with irregularities.

00:57During the raid conducted by the eight police officers, they presented a warrant of arrest.

01:01However, Peñones said this warrant was already recycled since it had been served to the real

01:07suspect back in March 2023.

01:20The PNP Internal Affairs Service has begun the pre-trial investigation against the involved

01:25police officers.

01:26According to Inspector General Attorney Brihido Dulay, the case is connected to the administrative

01:31complaint filed against the officers, which includes grave neglect of duty for not using

01:36body-worn cameras, grave misconduct, grave dishonesty, conduct unbecoming of a police

01:42officer, and simple neglect of duty.

01:44The victim's family earlier claimed that the police officers stole around P85 million worth

01:49of items including cash, luxury watches, gold bars, gadgets, and expensive bags.

01:56On April 2, eight police officers entered the house of the Chinese national in a subdivision

02:01in Laspina City.

02:02They carried a warrant of arrest for violation of Republic Act 10591 against a certain Jay

02:08Lee.

02:09Aside from arresting the victim, the police officers allegedly took the contents of the

02:14Chinese national's vault.

02:16Russian-American vlogger Vitaly Zorovetsky will stay longer in the Philippines.

02:21According to DILG Secretary Junvic Rimulya, Zorovetsky must first face the consequences

02:26of his disgraceful actions that embarrassed some citizens in the country before the Bureau

02:31of Immigration deports him.

02:46Zorovetsky will not receive any special treatment in the Bureau of Immigration detention facility.

02:59In connection to this, the Secretary said he will suggest to lawmakers to add more theat
