There where two women who had their own permanent in the spiritual and free jazz collective Pan Afrikan Peoples Arkestra founded and led by American free jazz painist Horace Tapscott: Linda Hill and Adele Sebastian. In 1981 Linda Hill released her own LP "Lullaby for Linda" and had among the backing band flutist and singer Adele Sebastian (unfortunally dead in 1983 after the release of her only album, the beautiful Desert Fairy Princess due to her long time kidney problems at the age of 27). "Lullaby for Linda" is a top-notch work, free jazz, spiritual jazz, brilliant singing and musical performance. Fine bass and drums combinations, heavy lines of sax, Sebastian's flute and vocals adorning Hill's piano and her few but beatufil vocals lines.
