John Lithgow and Lesley Manville win top prizes at Olivier awards
"Giant" starring John Lithgow as author Roald Dahl and a musical reimagining of "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button" were among the many winners at Britain's Olivier theater awards on Sunday, April 6, picking up three prizes each.
US star Lithgow won the best actor prize for his turn as Dahl in Mark Rosenblatt's "Giant," an account of the fallout from a 1983 book review written by the author that provoked accusations of anti-Semitism.
Lesley Manville won best actress for her portrayal as Jocasta in "Oedipus," scoring her second Olivier award.

00:26to be embraced by the English theatre community like that.
00:30It's just... I can't even tell you what it means.
00:33And the Olivier Award goes to...
00:38..Leslie Manville for Elegance.

01:01It's quite a big stage to walk out onto the Royal Albert Hall
01:05and see all those faces, but it's wonderful.

01:19I've got to be on a plane at 6am tomorrow morning
01:22and go back to Dublin, where I'm filming.
01:25So I will have a glass of champagne, but I can't have too many,
